oh they know about shadow. The mom actually met shadow a few chapters back. She no doubt told dad so they both know. It’s why the dad was pushing the mom to tell tim she’s the same as shadow but everytime she tries something pops up.

Ok, to try and answer your question, they probably know. As TBeholder said they most likely saw the 2 leave before going to bed, and since no one else should be in the room, it could only be Shadow. That’s my best answer lol

well one scenario they think he’s banging a girl with another guy and possibly the other guy as well (teens experiment) in the other scenario they think he’s banging a monster girl. It just depends on if the parents know the other two left or not, because its slightly more awkward in the morning if you think your son had a 3way/bisexual 3way that you woke up to overhearing.

While I would not categorise your “something” as “inanely stupid” without more evidence, then yes, the probability of the cause is correct.
I would be even more particular, it’a not just religious fascism, it’s Christian fascism. There’s a centuries-long history of it. It started in 5thCentury Rome and has continued into the 20thC. It probably continues into the 21stC but the evidence has not yet been uncovered.

soundproofing isnt all that hard. some walls are partially hollow (mainly for pipes and electric cables and insulation) so if you can get egg cartons into that hollow space, there is your sound proofing. btw it’s the shape not the material of the egg cartons that make them good at insulating sound.

Glad to see this webcomic still going. I remember reading it awhile ago, and then just falling away, but I’m glad I found it again!
So, trying to be spoiler free, but I read the progenitor story of this, and I hope that being the son of Ruthless and the guy that managed to capture and subdue Ruthless in his youth actually makes Tim more than a weak meek distressed damsel in this comic (Because trust me, he did not reflect his genes in the novel…). I am so far loving the improvements and I seriously hope this becomes one of them. Just posting this criticism because I care, please dont take me as a hater or alike.

However, the 10,000 number relates to successful genetic diversity in establishing a “generation ship” or “ark ship” for colonisation, should we ever discover a suitable Planet B and commit to a century (or more) journey to establish a safety pool of population.
We’ll never be safe as a species until we have more than one rock to live on!
As far as Planet A (this one), it will probably regenerate the natural resources we depend on (except for metals) if we can get the population down to about 2 billion. At the moment we’re (7.5-8 billion of us) using about 1.5-2.0 planets worth of resources.
That’s not really sustainable.
I think most of those billions somewhat emphatically don’t include you when they say “us”. And that very soon (as in, in terms of the processes observably underway, not mere general trends) you are going to be deprived of many illusions related to this subject. But something earlier in this thread caught my attention again. I have stumbled on a “childfree” LiveJournal community back in early 2000s, you see. At the first glance, boring — slightly ghoulish smug flamebait was not rare even back then. But there was an apparent bizarre inconsistency: some baited passers-by were kicked immediately, others engaged in long threads, though their responses were equally or even more scatological. It was strange enough to attract attention. I managed to discern an unique pattern: users were kicked after using any expression that asserted or implied — no matter how metaphorically — that the community member is something other than human (including inanimate objects).
Your comments in general also give impression of aberrations now popularly associated with tumblr, but they don’t flash obvious weird patterns. Is this selective improvement or just recursive downsampling?

She’s tried a couple times in recent days (of this part of the timeline), and Tim apparently has vague memories of her ‘dressed up’ as a golden lion, but yeah, getting to the reveal where he finally connects the dots will be nice!

And even if not, she could be in human shape at that time.
