Ooh I like the brighter/warmer colors of the day sequence there, though the photo houses in the background are a little jarring. Kinda wondering how shadow would look in better light than just a dark room with a lamp on.

The photo houses background in panel 3 is actually a little funny. Took me looking at it 3x to notice them. But again it’s a little funny, and it gives the same feel as The Amazing World of Gumball: a 2D series happening on top of a 3D world. Which actually works pretty well.
Funny, but it saves a buttload of time, considering I hate drawing houses! XD
I will say that it feels as if the story would have done slightly better without the prologue, mostly because the pacing so far feels a bit too slow. Feels as if it will take some time before we get to the actual romance. In that case, it feels like it would have been better to have simply show the relationship developing over time rather than showing a glimpse of the far future.
Of course, this is just an opinion.

I love the fourth panel. Really great use of perspective. It’s so easy to screw something up from that point of view with the character’s legs. Too long, or too short, or you draw them at the wrong angle and it looks off. I’m really impressed, dude. Bravo.
Thanks! I had to draw it in sections on various levels to get ‘right’. Could still use some work with perspective, but at least I’m not going crazy with it.

If you’re looking for sexy time, you’re in the wrong place. For the most part.
This comic is not focused on sex, although it does have nudity and sexual situations in it, it’s not anything you won’t see by watching any HBO drama out there. The ‘filler’ you speak of is the plot, which is the main focus here.
Mind you, the next comic does have some interesting content… 😉

I’m definitely enjoying your work a lot. Nice art, nice vision, nice characters, and heading in a good direction. But why only release 1 page per week? Do you only make 1 page per week? I don’t care much for the sex, I have exhentai for that, I just wish you updated faster so I could get into this story better because 1 page a week is difficult for me to get excited over and I find myself waiting for 2-3 weeks between reads to get more content.
Thank you! I only put up what I make as I make it. Pretty much, every update is fresh off of me finishing each page so it all depends on when I manage to finish it up.
I have a full-time job; not to mention a life on top of everything to deal with, so I dedicate/sacrifice my Friday nights and Saturdays to cranking out new pages every week for you guys.
Until something changes, that’s how it’ll have to be for now.
Ok, that totally makes sense. Now I understand and appreciate your work a lot more lol. Now I can put a lot more value into your 1 page releases because I now know you dedicate part of your busy life to do this on your little free time and I can really appreciate that. I also have to ask, do you have an idea where you want this to go or do you kinda just wing it each week? like do you have a word doc with your story board and notes and just reread that each week to refresh yourself? Have you ever had one idea for the next page but then went a completely different direction?
I have a pretty solid framework laid out, but there is lots of room for flexibility if I come up with an idea randomly. Usually I have a bunch of pages already written a few weeks in advance, and as I catch up I start to write out more. Sometimes I’ll change up the dialogue a bit if I need to, or think of anything better. As it stands I have the next 4 weeks of pages already planned out.
