Brandon, you have an imgur link below the TVTropes link on the left sidebar to a page that hasn’t had an image since 2015. What’s up with that?
Actually, it updated all the time until last year. Either they found it themselves or someone kept reporting it, but the entire gallery kept getting nuked and I got tired of uploading it and rearranging it.
Some years ago Imgur made it against their TOS to be used as hosting service for images used on other sites. So they started blocking sites that hotlink from them. Seen it happen to a few others.
Seems like its not a worthwhile link to keep on your page, Brandon.

That said, I’m not surprised that MN is taking it as well as she is. It’s not like she didn’t know Shadow’s feelings toward Tim.

Plus it helps that she’s been having her fun with other women too, so Midnight’s not exactly waiting around for Shadow to throw herself at her. And yeah I don’t get the whole threesome idea either. It’s a fun little thought, but realistically it makes no sense for it to happen in the story. So it’s probably never gonna happen.
It’s a story about cookie loving monster girl coming out of a magical doorway under your bed.. Realism is pretty much the last thing that should be dictating the story.. lol That goes for fiction and fantasy in general!
Perhaps, but remaining true to the characters should. Shadow’s been saving herself for Tim for years. Do you really think she’d be interested in sharing? I think not.
That’s what I’m saying. Character wise it makes no logical sense. And I get that it’s a fantasy story, but even fantasies follow their own rules and have to work off some kind of logic. Otherwise, you’d just have inconsistencies and Brandon’s too good a writer for that to happen.

I’ve thought about this.. Given the nature (knowns and unknowns) of Noxians society and culture, particularly the part they seem to keep males and females separated as youth, can we really be sure of anything. It seems like casual “relationships” are a thing in their society. But the most telling bit for me is Shadow’s seeming indifference to MN’s advances. She didn’t turn her down outright based on “sexuality” (pointing out that she doesn’t play for the same team etc) but on principle of waiting for the “right one.” (clearly Tim) Hell, MN herself seems pretty interested in certain details here.
Plus, of course, there’s the issue of Noxian demographics.
So far, Brandon has shown us many more Noxian females than males.
If that’s an accurate glimpse of Nox society, then there will obviously be more F-F relationships than M-F.
In itself, that does not mean that Noxian F-F relationships are necesarily more than temporary convenience for the moment and won’t be terminated if there’s the chance of some hot, thick, length of dick.
So, Midnight COULD turn at the drop of a trouser!
Since we are following a Noxian female, we’re bound to see more of her circle of friends and acquaintances, who happen to also be female. It’s also a good idea for writers to assume characters are bisexual until proven otherwise, otherwise they could write themselves into a corner. Which means it’s also a good idea for readers to assume the same.

Our very very very very distant ancestors had those… Like millions of years ago. Early hominids lost them, though, and we’re not sure why. Perhaps selection? In most animals who have them, they’re a competitive advantage as they help ensure fertilization of the female; but it’s possible that they became a disadvantage if females just refused to mate with barbed males when they could mate with a smooth one instead.
