As I said in another comment, I think Midnight has had a crush on Shadow for some time. They are close friends who grew up together but we know Midnight likes ladies so I think there’s a bit of a unrequited love rivalry thing going on that makes her hard on Tim. I believe that in the end though she will go to him and after some anger is aired out she will get him to help. Maybe Tim’s mom will even step in to help as well. Exciting times are coming for sure either way.
I’m hoping more along the lines of a powerhouse.. middy going to timmy’s.. meeting dear old mum, and Ruth showing how ruthless she can be.
Yeah well.

Hopefully she’s not too hard on Tim. But when is she ever easy on him?
I still think a lot of Midnight’s anger towards Tim stems from him being a rival for Shadow’s affections. It’s known Midnight likes the ladies and pretty sure she’s had a crush on Midnight for a long time besides just being friends. So she blames Tim for a lot.
He got her into this. Can he help get her out?
He didn’t get her into anything. He isn’t going to their world. She’s going to his. Her choice, her actions, her responsibility.
Oh, I see it is following the plot of the original story. Will Timothy gather friends for a rescue mission ?
Will Middy take out her anger on Tim? Is this how Tim gets his scars? These questions—and many others—will be answered in the next episode of… TMUTB.

Now I am wondering. Exactly what is in Midnight’s head? Is she mad because of Highmother and Nighmare and she will seek for Tim to help Shadow or is she mad against Tim because she states that Tim is the responsible person for the problems of her friend whereas Tim pledged protecion for Shadow? I think it is the second but I cannot state it with certainty.
She thinks that Terminus cares about her. Spoiler – he does not.
“Tiddies flopping with rage,” is not a phrase I ever expected to come to mind, but here we are.
I think one way Shadow can free heself is hitting or scratching Nightmare as her left arm is not restrained at all then force Moonlight to fall using her own weight to pull her down, and get up to start running again, not so crazy, she could have seen action movies with Tim and try that as her last resource.
