As someone that read the original story I can vouch this comic version is miles better (not that the original was bad) but as we get closer to certain events I will beg the author as I did when this comic started, please do not make Tim the weak ass defenseless shame he is in the original story. The one thing I couldn’t swallow was how the son of Ruithless and the human that managed to capture Ruthless somehow gets manhandled by every other character…
That being said, looking forward to the coming events!

Brandon hasn’t yet shown us his graphic for a human-Nox transformation.
Will Ruth disappear into a puff of smoke and then, as the smoke clears, reveal Lady Blackheart in full costume? (Page 95) or maybe he just blurs the image from one panel to the next?
Is such a transformation instataneous? or will there be a panel showing Timmy’s bewilderment as a slower morph happens?

during the Halloween arc, it is shown how the transformation works, shadow transforms to and from human to noxian with the Encyclopedia Magika.
How many people wanting a slow TF, raise your hands.
Looks around, starts counting hands, 1, 2, 3, anuthr, anuthr, anuthr… That’s a lot!
I’m definitely looking forward to a slow transformation. Shadow’s transformation was a magical illusion; I’m going to assume Ruthless’s transformation was more magical transmogrification of her biology than illusion, or it would probably slip when she’s asleep.
Page 132. One panel Shadow is human, next one she is Nox.
(It’s a GREAT page!) Shadow was using an illusion spell and the transition only needed to drop the illusion temporarily. There’s no showing of the transition (re-applying the spell) between pages 133 & 134, so Brandon still has all options available.

When (and how) are they going to find out Shadow’s current troubles? What will they do about those?
My guess is Brandon will drag it out over the next 5 years.
