I guess it really depends on the depths of hubris Termie has. I could see it stroking is ego or him thinking he can fool her into playing nice. I could also see him ending her right there and then and cleaning up a “loose end”.
The problem with working with these power-hungry types is that they don’t like to share. They don’t want a partner, they want a tool, and if you’re not willing to be a tool then you are just another obstacle to be removed.

Gonna be honest, would not be surprised if this is the last we see of her. It just feels like the moment before a petty decapitation
She just wants the power, after he’s king, she’ll get rid of him and take all the power for herself. The only thing she should be queen of is a jail cell, or the fat ugly jailer there always seems to be…. He wanted that girl by choice, not by force, and now, there’s a chance she’ll be jailed or killed for this “transgression.”
These claws are made for climbing.

If you page through history, you’ll notice that 95% of the wannabe queens were pawns dreaming to be queen and 15% of them succeeded by dint of having a nasty sponsor they stabbed in the back. 20% succeeded by humping the king to death and 60% used poison.

Well we know Nightmare tried the humping thing with Terminus. Somehow I don’t see her getting very far tho.
Oh no… Nightmare’s about to find out Terminus is similar to Shadow and Blackheart/Ruth. Hopefully Mother/Moonlight and Midnight can help, especially with Anna potentially being in danger.
So I was looking over the past pages and I noticed we haven’t seen what happened to the Jerks human girlfriend after she was KO’d.
We will, eventually.
I see this going one of two ways.
Either Termite is going to keep her around until her usefulness has ended, or it’ll be similar to the scenario below:
Nightmare: I AM YOUR QUEEN!
Termite (as he stabs Nightmare through her toxic, bleeding heart): No…you are a liability…
I look at it differently.
ightmare: I AM YOUR QUEEN!
Termite (pulls out his stiletto): No…you are a liability…
ightmare: (pulls out a Glock and shoots him)
I figure that Nightmare would take advantage of her trips to Earth to acquire some lethal toys.
That would take forethought and planning.
Nightmare has shown no signs of either, she is merely an opportunist.
How does telling Mother Moonlight about Tim give you more leverage than telling *Shadow* you know about Tim?
