Confirmed none, but many suspected Shadow.
Being foundling in a basket. And now also between certain Noxian gentleman caring about her fate too much and an incident of exactly this sort being mentioned (which is a misapplication of Chekhov’s gun: it may introduce another just as well).
Note that the author is not required to follow the existing story, he deviated inside the first 10 strips. But once you have a well written script, you try not to do a total retcon without cause.
It can happen. There is (was?) a webcomic a family runs an arcade (bear and cougar), he has some creatures, think they are called “goblins”. Originally they were mental constructs, retconned to physical beings, hatched from stone eggs. Had a crossover with Schlock. Not canon there.
I think the stuff Moon told her about what her father warned her about.. makes it highly unlikely that specific aspect is getting rewritten. Plus doing so would kill the poetic symmetry of the main couple and a lot of foreshadowing.. pun intended. lol 😛
The hinting is Shadow. What moon said about the warning her father gave comes off at least very human something related. It sounded like a warning that she might attract or be attracted to humans. Outside of another reason for a biological.. ‘predisposition’ to humans. It has to be at least a front runner.
There are other reasons too but some (you) might count them as spoilers.
Especially after what her father told Moon might happen. Seems past the point where it’s meant to be a secret secret and more of an open secret among fans.
My fear isn’t so much something even as noble from them.. it seems more like they mistakenly view monsters as an outright threat. Maybe even complete with hardliners obsessed with stopping them.
Plus i’m starting to get the feeling that a certain grandfather might have a bigger role.. or at least more grand role this time. Related directly to this org and the previous captured monster.
> What kind of life could they possibly have out there?
Call me an optimist, but I’m thinking a pretty decent one in all likelihood, provided Terminus steps up. Like, there’s gotta be a webcomic or three with roughly that premise. I know ”Erma” is pretty darn close.
…wait.
> provided Terminus steps up
…we may have a problem.
There may be a lot.
I consider this particular hypothesis unlikely: if anything, this would lead to The Talk about operational security, especially after a visit by those two.
Another possibility is relevant to whatever trait makes one attractive to the Noxian (which does not have to be unique, but still). Which as likely as not amounts to magical talent or being some other sort of a metahuman.
In which case, “your grandfather, my father, had heavy enough gaze to bend spoons” is too small for a secret comparable to being a Noxian. If whatever-it-is was not at all latent, but fully armed and operational, that’s more like it.
Second pass: if so, this also raises the obvious question about Anna. Some or other hilarity may ensue within 1d6 pages. I mean, hunting the Snarks is good fun and games, right until you discover a Boo-
Yet another warning sign in that pause…
Unless these guys end up being Team Rocket I wouldn’t ve surprised if they end being worse than Terminus
So it’s a binary thing? You turn out one or the other? I guess that tracks with what we’ve seen so far.
So far we’ve seen two hybrids, both look like their father.
Hold up. Who was the second one?

so we have tim and this baby, is that the second one? if not the baby, who is the second one?

If you read the comments on fan art, his email address will tell you his other name. He has a deviantart presence. Spoilers!!!!!!
Oof, necessary sacrifice for the greater good

To me it doesn’t. Where are the signs of siege mentality, or at least serious caution? They come across as more haphazard, lax and overconfident.
Even though she does have a point I still wouldn’t trust her or the organization in the slightest. In this case I don’t trust anybody

I postulate that Tim’s Dad used to work for N.E.R.D./Nightwatch.
Why?
Chapter 4, #222
Ruth: “Maybe then we could even tell him Your big secret.”
Thomas: “Hey let’s not go crazy here. One thing at a time!”
There may be a lot.

Largely agree with the premise (that Shadow is NOT “a hybrid”) however I do appreciate the Lewis Carrol (Rev. Samuel Dodgson) reference.
Didn’t you say it was a male nox And a female researcher that got seduced? Because that would make it so that It couldn’t be Tim’s dad
Sorry autocorrect to go over there, I said or least meant to say “didn’t the comic say”
