Is it just me or does some of the words look more ” thick ” compared to the others as a means of making them more important?
Yeah, they are. It’s supposed to add a certain important inflection in their voice.

I guess it depends on the person. You’ve got your ‘Barb Wires’ who really don’t like being called babe, but there’s also folks who love it too.

Because they were intended to be scary?
Because they are different.
Hell, some people don’t like other humans because their skin is a different colour, or they speak a different language. Humans really suck sometimes.

I have no doubt of that, Brandon. I will say that girls who don’t mind looking messed up at eight years old usually don’t like to look messed up at 13 years old. They want to look GOOD, even if it’s for a boy they don’t consider as a boyfriend…yet. it’s a female thing… and cross-dimensional.

Well, of course he talks to you like it is normal. For all the ‘monster attributes’, you are a damned attractive girl and he is going through puberty!
Plus, you did not really do any physical harm to him that we know of.

And it’s unlikely that either Shadow or Tim is even STARTING puberty at eight. Not impossible, just extremely unlikely…
