Man… I couldn’t even manage to have a scary monster under my bed when growing up… Much less an Awesome one… I had to make due with a creepy chucky doll thing… I feel so deprived. I would have loved to have had a monster under the bed… Cool comic. Makes my Sunday morning drive home from work more exciting.

This brings back memories… my mother had a porcelain doll that looked exactly like chucky, without the scars and the evil look on the face… still, scared the shit out of me, especially when I was alone after it got dark >_<
Wow, amazing work, the expressions of the characters throughout is amazing, from the eyes on the first few pages indicating that Tim knew exactly what was behind him, and that he was perfectly safe, and the gestures and body language, this is really quite amazing, and I can’t wait for the story to continue, and don’t let criticism or impatience keep you from doing what you decide is right for the story… Except mine of course 😉

Well, I do have a plan that I’m sticking to. It might not be for everyone (especially the impatient) but in the end it should all work out great.

Loving the gradual climb out from below the the bed, though Shadow seems to be a combination of shy and slightly confused/anxiety attackish.
Panel 2 is awesome, so much potential for humor just by changing words in addition to being adorably shy. Kinda wanting to see an angry glare-y version in the future.
Normal is boring, though safe, and Shadow is much more interesting than normal things. Besides with the rise of nerd culture wierd is in now.
On a side note whats up with the multiple comment pages now, seems rather awkward.
There’ll probably be a disgruntled version of peeking over the bed in the future sometime! XD
People were complaining all the comments were messing up their computers/phones… so I staggered them. Now, every 15 comments it’ll split into a new page and not bog down the site so much. At least I hope it helps. Some people just have crappy computers, and I can relate to that. I had a very crappy one last year, until I bought this new one finally and started this comic!
Oh, and we’ll learn in time that Shadow can be a spaz. XD And a dork.
I had no problems with the comments myself, but can believe others did.
Honestly find splitting the comments to be more annoying, makes it much more of a hassle to see what others thought and talk back and forth, but you do what you gotta do.

You know, this makes me curious about the history between “monsters” and humans. Why is it so unusual? How did it get to be that way? Did we used to get along, and then something went bad? So many questions, and only 1 strip a week to answer them all.
There’s a history there, I’ll delve into the mythos a bit from time to time.

Here an out of the blue request when do we get to see Shadows point of view about this relationship also I want to see her room and her just sitting there thinking.
I’m sure eventually I’ll have some scene like that. As for her perspective, we’ll be seeing the action start to follow her more during this very chapter in various parts.

I don’t really have time for commissions currently, though it’d be nice sometime.
Hah, I love the “thing” she picks up on. It really makes sense that it wouldn’t just be an “I met a nice kid” and would be more of an “I met a nice kid, and he had this one thing that was really fascinating”. Doesn’t really matter what it is, so long as he’s got a hook. Of course, she does too (literally).
He’s an excellent opportunity for her to actually learn about humans, it helps that he’s not a total ass-hat either.
