Some people have the ability to keep their cool in a crisis, take a deep breath, look at the facts rationally, and make an informed decision. Stanislav Yevgrafovich Petrov and Vasily Aleksandrovich Arkhipov are two prime examples since these two having that ability avoiuded nuclear war twice.
Some people (like myself) will sometimes emotionally shut down under intense stress, leaving a coldly rational, coldly analytical person trying to gather as much relevant information as possible to make a decision.
In either case though, calming down Shadow’s friend so he can get as much intel out of her before they move out on a rescue mission is the rational choice to do, and that’s what he did, which means he either has the same kind of cool head that Stanislav Yevgrafovich Petrov and Vasily Aleksandrovich Arkhipov had, or he shut down. Given that he still is somewhat emoting, I’m gonna go with the “bro’s got a cool head on his shoulder!” explanation.
Yea that was my thought too, like dude wth? He is Way too calm being told his GF is gonna get killed.

_We_ know that Nox has the death penalty but Tim doesn’t.
He has not yet even been told that Shadow’s actually imprisoned.
Only Midnight knows BOTH facts and she’s only hinted that Shadow’s in some kind of trouble (unspecified). That’s a denoument yet to be revealed.

Hey, I just found this comic by pure chance I thought I give it a try, most comics I read I stop because they don´t really catch my interest but this one is a huge exeption I can´t wait to see what you are going to show us in the story. I found here and there many foreshadowing and can´t wait how it goes. Keep up the story writing nad the exelent work.
