The more I think of that the more I think your style looks more to shojo manga than to anything else. See these large eyes, very expressive… Just see Shadow in the last picture makes me sure of that.

That blood lock down there is waiting for a murder. He’s done one but doesn’t have the lock open yet. He has ample opportunity to kill Anna, and doesn’t respect her even a little bit, but he doesn’t have the lock open yet. So who does he have to murder?
Remember how he acted so concerned when Anna mentioned pregnancy? Remember how he was thinking later that he “almost had it” with her “little joke?” Their child will be a hybrid. So who does he have to kill to get that blood lock open, and why was the idea that Anna might be pregnant with his own child an “almost had it?”
And then he heard that this “Tim” person is a hybrid, and that Shadow is running around with him. And suddenly he absolutely HAS TO get bonded to Shadow. Now I ask again, who does he have to murder to get that lock open?
Tim. That’s who.
Or at least that’s how I read the foreshadowing.
I disagree for the killing of Tim. Terminus wants a hybrid to open a door – we do not know what is inside but an hybrid is required. He needs an hybrid, but nothing is sure that he actually needs to kill the said hybrid. That is an assumption that I prefer putting aside for the moment.
There is no requirement that the hybrid be killed. There is no specification of HOW MUCH “blood” is required.
I am diabetic and have to shed blood eveķy day. The test doesn’t even need a cup of blood each day.
The requirement for hybrid “blood” could be figurative and might be satisfied if a hybrid has a hand on the dagger key at opening, or is even at a close proximity.
Brandon hasn’t specified what the spell lock needs.
