Could also be something so out of the ordinary that she was utterly surprised, that final picture didn´t give a “good” or “bad” impression, only a “surprised” one.
Maybe it´s one of those “I´m a f*cking idiot, why didn´t i think of that sooner?” moments. Had those way too often myself.

It looks like it’s carved into the stone (I doubt they have wood to turn into furniture in Nox) so it’s probably a decoration.

Shadow is locked in a cell. Terminus is already there, proposing a way out. Tim is on his way there, intending to break her out. Moonlight is about to head there, having just found another way out. So all of them are converging on one cell.
How many other parties are following? Nightmare? Ruth?

Probably the same as the twinned ‘sig’ runes on her armband.
I doubt that Moonie is claiming membership or affirming sympathy with the schutzstaffel, so inclusion of an ‘m’ is probably accidental, not intentional.
Well, it’s an Ecyclopedia Magicka from earlier in the story (not the same one that Ruth currently has) so I assume it stands for Magic. Since it’s a magic book.

Why no just look the other way? Why do i get the strong feeling that the loophole will involve her officially getting with asshole. Like marriage to someone important overriding hings or something.. ugh I hate these kinds of scares. (forced to someone else) >_<

Moonie tried to look the other way. As long as she could pull it without looking complicit before public. Even though she knew what’s up long ago.
That’s why she expressed exasperation when Shadow ran: with the witnesses, she had to take action. If Shadow simply played dumb and offered excuses, Moonie would have an option to berate her for being slow and bury the whole thing, at least for the time being.

Hmmmm…. I wonder if it could be related to the original story. After Timothy rescued Shadow, Lady Monnlight “exiled” Shadow to the human world with a task. Shadow became a guardian. I don’t remember if she was assigned as a guardian to Timothy, or if she has to “guard” the portal connecting Timothy bedroom to Nox.
We’ll see this loophole in the next chapters.
I found this webcomic 3 days ago. Now I want more. Can’t wait for the next update!
The only downside to being invested in this comic is that even if it updated every 2 weeks without fail, that’s only 26 pages a year.
