Brandon, i have to congratulate you. You have created two splendid charcters, with a good sense of humour and mood. I have discovered this comic today and got my attenttion. I just went all though it and I ended just here letting you know that i love it!. The desing , story and characters are adorable. Keep it up, cheers.

Okay, so! I have to say, I am hooked. I am not one to easily impress, but I do enjoy your art-style, it’s new so that helps, the premise is… well it’s not the first time I have seen a human boy get along with the monster under the bed, though it is the first time I see a relationship grow out of it, so it’s good. And pretty much with the first page you got me, that was pretty darn good humor ‘nice try’. And now… well now I am looking forward to more and I just found it today.

Well as stated, it helps that the monster here is cute and likable. In other ‘Imaginary Friend’ or ‘Monster-friend’ things… I just end up hating them ‘Drop Dead Fred’ and ‘Little Monsters’ being the top two responsible for that. But I actually LIKE Shadow! She is cute and I can’t wait to see the others. I hope you have some creative ideas on how some of those monsters look like. I mean you must already have a story in mind, seeing how I am sure you didn’t add those claw-marks to Tim’s back for nothing.
Well, the others won’t look drastically different or anything, as they are all the same race. Although they’ll come in multiple different colours.
Aaaah!Come on man! They are monsters, they don’t have to look the same, in a monster-theme that’s where you can let your creativity reign supreme! But I see your point! I hope we will get to see some other races though! You know, like in the old show ‘Aaaah! Monsters!’ Not sure if you know it. But I actually enjoyed that show. Ahem! As said! Just my two cents on the matter! Your webcomic, I am looking forward to seeing more and seeing how they went from friends to… married? mated? sex-buddies? Lovers? Not sure what kind of relationship they have, to be honest.
Their relationship status will be spelled out pretty clearly when we get there.
And yes, there are other races out there in this universe, but for now Tim will mostly be dealing with Shadow’s kind specifically.

They are aware of certain dangers that will lead to them getting captured, and know what cameras are capable of, however they predominantly stick to bedrooms and they themselves don’t have fridges. Even if one of them were familiar enough with the human world to know of human kitchens, they probably wouldn’t readily speak about it publicly, due to the personal danger that in itself might put them in.

Also the story is being told to us by Tim from the future, where they are both older. So we drop in on them at the beginning and end of each chapter to move along whatever mysterious event is happening in their future life currently. At least until we catch up to them. It’s a storytelling technique used in lots of things, where you start at the end and then tell how they got there.

just read through the entire thing, gotta say, I like this race of Shadow’s, the physical design seems interesting, and still, the story is enough to hook while you search for answers on things, relationship, history, how she vanishes beneath his bed. I don’t know if it is planned or not, but I am really curious to see what her world is like. Looking forward to seeing where the cuties end up going, I’ll definitely be watching for more.
