I’m liking what iv’e read so far and i’m enjoying the art quite a bit as well yet there is however a single nit pick that kinda urks me. Im assuming that tim is at least 18 for legal reasons at least in the introduction. my question now is why does tim’s head look much like his childlike figure? its kinda odd to get this very child like face structure on a late teens body with the large, low set eyes. I understand that it fits with the depiction of shadow and seems a bdeliberate art choice but they just kinda dont seem so say 18 or older to me?
It’s honestly just my art style. Everybody has eyes like that! XD You’ll just have to get used to it, I suppose. *shrug* It becomes a moot point next chapter anyway, as no matter what they look like they’ll both be of age.
Ah i can respect that. I’ve wanted to start my own web comic for quite some and i find myself doing just that in regards to art style. A lot of what i draw does start to look the same. When I was drawing my cast of charachters all the males looked a lot alike so I can honestly respect that. But anyway congrats on a very good start! ill be bookmarking this and checking every Sunday.

There are two separate doors. He enters from the doorway where the stairs/hall are, and the other door leads out into the living room/bathroom/foyer.

Exactly. One is looking at the room from the living room direction, the other is from the stairwell direction. There are 2 separate doors.

Gotta say I’ve immediately fallen in love with this comic. Been a while since I found anything that really grabbed my attention. I really wish it was updated twice or three times a week. But alas we must simply wait. Real life obligations come first after all.

Immediately feel in love with the style and I’m already trying to come up with ideas of information about the ‘monsters’ and their world and etc. Especially since Shadow doesn’t seem to know what a lot of things are. Like cake, refrigerator and stuff. So it will be interesting to see Tim introduce her to these new things and what impact that might have in Shadow’s world and people. Especially when they find out she befriended a human. Who are in fact monsters too after all.
When they find out it certainly will become a major issue but that’s not for a little while yet… 😉
Also. I love the little details. Like the frosting stain on Shadow’s dress that you still see in the last panel. Detail. I love seeing that.
I almost forgot to add that in, it was the very last thing I did before calling the page finished! Now I must keep remembering it for the next few pages! XD
I just found this comic and i love it already, it’s got great humor.
I especially love the tail sticking out in panel three and other things you can easily overlook life that frosting stain (thanks Cerberus because i missed it completely ^^).
It’s just a fascinating story. Also helps I’m a furry and Shadow is hot. Monsters. They exist in this comic and you can go so far with it. I can see why Shadow is afraid of her people finding out. Humans are the most dangerous creature to exist. A true monster if you look at what we’ve done. So I imagine I’m calling it now. A statement or question will be asked about who is the real monster. Will be asked from little Tim-Tim. Why that isn’t a question is obvious.
Anyway. Thanks for the compliments. I am told I over analyze things a lot and I do. It’s like reading a book series and a few books in they reference things from previous books and when you notice it you get excited. I fully expect that to happen in this comic.
Indeed, I’ll be doing a great deal of world-building once the story fully opens up in a little while. Yes, there is a question of ‘who is the real monster’ to be asked eventually, although of course there are bad monsters in here too! Who asks it may be surprising when the time comes. Or not.
