Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
It’s the only one of the franchise I’ve seen and it’s not that scary. I don’t know about the others, though.
You’re right, and yeah, it’s not that scary. I personally think it’s one of the best entries in the franchise though.
I have a confession:
I saw The Ring (American version) at lunch time one day. That night I had to make an hour long international phone call to a friend* to be able to get to sleep that night.
* Time differences are great!

My first guess was the first movie, seeing as I had never seen the posters. But the reference in the description tipped me that it was a movie with the character of Freddy Krueger.
That is most definitely ANoES3: Dream Warriors.
So now they’re going to watch a horror movie together. It’ll be amusing if an actual monster gets scared by a monster movie.
We’ll see!

It definitely falls under horror movie classics. If you think of old horror flicks as a genre and a series or movie IMMEDIATELY comes to your head like Freddy, Jason, Michael, Charles, and Leatherface always do, I’d say yeah it’s a classic.

I love the expression in panel 4, that’s just downright as playful as you can get. And with it, I always hear the line as “Nnnope!” with the extended ‘N’ sound.
Ha! I had a feeling that poster (which I recognized 4 strips ago) was going to acknowledged in some way! I can’t wait to see Shadow’s reaction to human produced horror. Or to just movies in general, for that matter. Do they have media in Nox?
Given that, on the previous page, it stated that she learnt about TV, I’d be surprised if she hasn’t seen any movies.
I sort of recognized Freddy on the poster, but couldn’t tell from which of the movies was this one. Also, I’m eager to see Shadow’s reaction to it. Maybe she’ll think it’s a comedy. Or maybe she’ll be absolutely frustrated at seeing all those scared humans and getting no “high” out of it. 😛

Since the Sisterhood of Noctis apparently exists to cause fear, she will either be impressed by our horror movies or she’ll find them incredibly funny.
