Technically, they are all her daughters… but not really. And their tail shapes aren’t the same. Nightmare’s is shaped like a shovel (or a broad sword) and Moonlight’s is a diamond.

Is it weird that I enjoy how each character seems to have a unique color for their accented words/soundeffects/emotions? Cuz Tim’s are blue. And Shadow’s are red. And Midnight’s are pink. And I’m clearly very proud of myself for figuring this all out. Nightmare also appears to have this blood red accent, and given her one panel appearance, Mother’s are white.
Indeed, this is true! I did that so if the need ever arises and things need to be mashed together you can still tell who’s saying what.
