In previous pages, Middy seemed to fear Mother, but she instead seems quite… motherly actually !
Particulary in this last image, her expression is neutral, tending toward affection I think.
I still wonder about that aura though 😀
She is quite matronly, and the glow is just a simple magic trick, really. Like opening a portal.
I have to say, Mother Moonlight seems quite lovely, though this “last time” she mentioned, and the fact that Nightmare and Midnight seem to be terrified of her, makes me think she’s like a tiger. Gorgeous to look at, but deadly when her ire is raised.
Every mother’s ire is deadly, specially from their children point of view.
Ah, a good analogy! Yes, she very much a Tiger. XD
So “review” does that mean what they do is like a competition or like the girls scouts kind of thing.
