I like how Shadow holds her tail when she’s nervous, sort of like a human wringing her hands. I wonder if this is a common gesture among the monsters.

Well you know, some of them think they can READ the future, but to quote everyones favorite little green goblin, always in motion is the future… and this future is not yet written (or drawn).
Prediction: Lady Blackheart wasn’t actually evil, she is just perceived as evil because what she did is so foreign of a concept to whatever society Shadow lives in. My guess is that Shadow will so meet Blackheart and learn the truth about whatever society Shadow lives in (2nd time I’ve said that cause idk the name of Shadow’s home XD). And that the beginning scene of this comic is either the end after the entire comic has been completed, or just the present in which something bad is about to happen and everything happening know is in the past.
Couldn’t help myself, I saw a major plot point come up and decided to put my 2 cents in 😛

Okay. Stepping away from here for a second and thinking elsewhere. I just read the latest page of Snafu Comic’s Grim Tales, and right now I feel like it would be a perfect time for a crossover between t.M.U.t.B. and GTFDB. I mean I could really see Minnie speaking and getting advice from and older, more mature, Shadow. But that’s how I feel right now.
Now back to here. I really like this page. Not only does it build good suspense but it also creates from interest lore in the world of t.M.U.t.B. Now not only do I want to see Shadow’s excuse, but also I want to know more about Lady Blackheart. Please tell us more. I want to know.

Then earlier in the comic… The ‘Admiral Ruthless’ scene, Ruthie says “That’s not my name, thief!”

I remember when Shadow explained to Tim about how she travailed between Nox and earth a few chapters back. The little grey clasp that they have. Then I remembered that Tim was wearing one near the beginning of the story.I wonder how that comes into play.
