It sounds to me like Shadow is suffering a bit from “Imposter Syndrodrome (aka Imposter Phenomena).

This is true, also nobody ever pointed out (here, at least) that Pax calls Moonlight ‘Moonie’ as a nickname 2 pages ago.

I figured she was doing something with the socks, but didn’t expect a shrine of tim scent.
But it just gets me thinking, from what I could tell the door to her room is just a sheet. So can anyone just waltz in there and see her sock shrine? Or is it not allowed for them to be in each other’s rooms?
Just curious cause it makes me wonder with such little protection how shadow has kept her secret for so long.
Their rooms are personal sanctuaries. It is very much frowned upon to enter another’s personal room without an express invitation. Midnight is allowed in though, but you can’t just walk in.
So….the way shes talking about how she collects socks….tim wouldn’t be okay with it….and pretty sure neither would anyone else….so do peeps not go into her room?

This page, from a technical viewpoint, is really interesting to look at. On the last panel I like how you made the socks lighter the closer to Shadow they are, keeping the point of focus around Shadow even though the socks are of a brighter color which would usually draw attention away. Then there’s the lighting on Shadow herself. Personally I have a lot of trouble with drawing shadows (real shadows, not the character) so I’m truly impressed. Then there’s the heart which you managed to give a nice texture despite it not being a too important part of the page. And that’s just one of the panels! Therefore: congratulations on a page well drawn!

Well not really this is a spot where the story and comic deviate a bit. In the story the socks were worn out and shredded and disappearing. Tim was punished for destroying his socks and losing them. Now a better question would be what was Shadow doing to the socks in the story for them to be in such a horrid state? That never got explained.

I wouldn’t call her a freak. Maybe she’s young but on this page she’s showing all the signs of a woman falling in love. Women are notorious for enjoying the smell of the man (person) they love. Women tend to wear shirts that their man has worn. Men also enjoy the smell of the woman they love. (Although I would think it a bit weird if they wore the woman’s clothing.)
Why are the socks in a Circle shape? How is she able to take them on the wall if the wall is made of carved out rock?? Why is there a bath towel holder in panel 3??? She has a personal bathroom with tub/shower, sink, toilet??
