Perhaps they know, perhaps they don’t. I’m being purposely vague about it because I don’t want to tip my hand to events playing out in the future.
Perhaps they know that there is a girl, just not who the girl is.
I don’t remember what his dad does, but it’s interesting that they’re working together now! Or atleast, that’s how it read to me.

That should be no surprise. If I recall from one of the early strips, Tim intended to, and successfully did, take a picture of the mouse that was stealing his socks.

I debated putting a white streak in her hair, but you could barely see it… so not much point. XD Whatever excuse works for you, she just takes good care of herself.

While I understand that women like their hair shorter as they grow older because it’s easier to care for – and I know from experience long hair is a pain to take care of at times – I’m still a sucker for longer-haired Ruth. Hell, I’m a sucker for long hair, period! It’s entirely possible she dyes out the white, too; women tend to do that more than men, in my experience (being the only guy in a household of women, I picked up on things like that early, though I tended to take ’em for granted for a long while).
Interesting to see that Tim has his father’s hair and his mother’s eyes, though. I never noticed before, probably because we really haven’t seen them all in the day before. Rare to see a brown hair with blue eyes, but that’s genetics for ya. 😉
Looking at the parents’ faces in the fourth panel, I’m pretty sure they know about Shadow, though how much they know about her is up for grabs.
And I see actual photographs (of your neighborhood?) through the window, Brandon. Nice touch; not many people can pull that off, especially over several panels and have the buildings line up properly.
I see his parents still wear the exact same clothes from page 8, 10 years ago. 😗
Her hair looks ok, not really too different from the long hair. Still kinda reminds me of Yu-gi’s hair. If anything, the lines are much sharper. Improved over the year. I wish I had that skill.
And that window background brings a smile to my face. Classic.
And thus starts the beginning of the end of the beginning.
I just want to know why they are still wearing the same clothes from several years ago. Oh well, it’s just the character design.
They are cartoons, they have closets full of the same clothes.
Fair enough, after all, we all have our styles. Except for me. I vary from suits to hoodies to pyjamas to underwear (to name a few) on an hourly basis.
Hey, I still wear clothes I wore from over five years ago. Of course, I would have wondered about mom. You know women. If it ain’t this year’s fashion, they need to replace it. (Did I actually say that?)
