You’ve got a point. She did describe herself as a freak. I guess in her world loving a human (from enjoying Tim’s smell) would be a major taboo. Still, wouldn’t Shadow have heard rumors of another of her kind that had fallen in love with, and married, a human? Of course, Dad could be one of the the males from their world. So many possibilities; so few true answers.
there was one that went missing once ? i forget what page it was – but they mentioned that one of them vanished, which is why i thought she might have left for earth – and sweet plot twist that he is half human 😀

Well, that sure was one hell of a growth spurt.
I always suspected Tim would have an Aegis of his own, since you need one to go through the ‘doors’ between the worlds, I just though he’d keep it up somewhere safe. True, a ‘Scarlet Letter’ approach is one way to go, but then you run the risk of losing it or it getting damaged somehow. Are Aegis’ water proof?
They are pretty resilient, so you could chuck it against a wall and it won’t break.

I remember older Shadow telling Tim ‘I’ll pick you up tonight’ or something like that in one of this comic’s earlier pages. I’m thinking he must need the Aegis to get into Shadow’s world. Because I’m not sure where else she could take him after picking him up, lol.
Also, Tim’s eyebrow game is UNBEATABLE, SON. Kruschev couldn’t even touch those things.
