I think Shadow is now fully aware that being flirty and getting physically close to Tim sets off his fear response a bit, which gives her a tasty fear treat. Making like she’s going to kiss him is probably giving her a smorgasbord of Tim fear food!
In any case, I’d say Shadow is definitely a bit more advanced than Tim when it comes to acknowledging the opposite sex. Maybe monsters are like humans…the females hit puberty first.
Also, why do I get the feeling that Tim’s soft, non-clawed human hands caressing Shadow’s tail feels *quite nice* to her?

Wow, I just found your work about an hour ago or so, around midnight. Its really.. well, amazing.
A story like this about a whole ‘nother world opening up to a person with a simple life, and changing it up to a great, and broader universe of so much more. I love it immensely. You, authorman, are having an incredible imagination there.
Its one of the, if not the, best thing I’ve ever come across. Honest.
