This is very true. It’s been a mad scramble almost every week to get a new page finished and posted by Sunday. This should be a nice change of pace.
Backlog sounds like a good plan. Every artist is different, but I know most do a lot better work when they don’t feel so stressed to hit a deadline.

Wait, do kids usually close their eyes on their first, surprise kiss? Not complaining, but it does surprise me. Usually they have their eyes open to, you know, NOT MISS the other’s lips.

LOL Guess it depends on whos surprising who? I think it more common to have your eyes closed as that most common on TV and media. But if one wasn’t expecting it they would likely have there eyes open just cuase there can’t believe wwhats happening.

Hopefully a little cuter (and cleaner looking) than those. Personally I wouldn’t attempt to imagine her as a real creature, though if she WAS to be portrayed as such, her teeth might have to be altered to mere fangs.
How would you see Shadow, if you were (a) there, (b) in her world, and (c) looking at her through cartoon eyes?
I honestly have no clue how to go about answering these! XD
She’s cute and naughty, but I designed her to be cute and naughty. In actuality, I don’t really find her ‘attractive’ that is to say, she does nothing for me. I know everything about her, but since I made her it’s like she’s my daughter… but not really. That’s crazy. I have a platonic reaction to Shadow and all of my own characters. I’m glad everyone seems to dig them though. 😉
Hah, this is a weird question.
And to answer the ‘how would I picture her teeth in real life’ question further, I think they could be pulled off to be exactly as I portray them, since the ideal way she would have to be rendered in ‘reality’ would be through Mo-Cap. So, a life-like 3D CGI model could theoretically capture and enhance all of her features.
I say call it like it is artistic license I like her toothy smile cuase its both a reminder she a monster and a naughty one at that. Sadly if I was to picture her in realy life I would think the teeth would be more like the Cone Heads when he goes to the dentist. lots of pointy teeth with a pair of fangs. Thou alot less then the 3 rows he has in the movie lol.
Just another existential comment relating to creating, the act of creating, and the nature of reality.
From what I’ve heard, from my writing experiences and my friend’s drawing, is that it just feels weird to be attracted to your own characters.

As for how she looks, the only thing I can think of offhand thats close to your Noxians is Demona from Gargoyles. Minus the wings of course.

This is probably the first webcomic i’ve ever read and it is amazing! one suggestion though is if possible try to make a mobile friendly site because I can’t be the only person who reads this on their phone right?
