Dear lord you are a genuis when it comes to making these characters come to life you are incredible and a near master in your chosen art i say near because to be a master you need to die frist like de vinche (i know i spelled his name wrong) and others sadly to revive the credit you deserve.please don’t through you need to make a lot more of your art first.

At starburst98: It’s not confusing. Tons of kids have kissed another kid (at a young age), because they are emulating adults. It’s natural curiosity. And besides, it’s a comic. Its not like there’s an age gap; nor is he insinuating that they will engage in anything further.

Also, Shadow’s probably a bit more predatory in nature than Tim, being what she is, but once instinctual curiosity gives way to classic child logic, it’s funny.

It’s their FIRST kiss, his AND hers! Tim probably thinks of Shadow in a platonic sense at this time, and understood the mechanics and purpose of kissing, and simply relayed the information. Shadow is like the 1st-Grade girl who grabs a boy she likes and kisses him because she thinks that’s what she’s SUPPOSED to do, and doesn’t have the emotional component (yet) to derive pleasure from the act, instead only realizing in horror that you’ve just shared spit and touched tongues with someone for no apparent payoff, but in this case, another species! This will change in time…
Think you’re kind of forgetting an important factor. Shadow’s not human. She likely thinks of it as an exact equivalent to the little tail binding she had with Midnight earlier in the comic. And in certain countries, it probably could be. Of course, we aren’t monsters, so perhaps the tail thing has meaning we aren’t aware of.
Brandon, is the first of your backlog pages? I hope to see this arc accelerate a bit, it’s torture to wait once a week!

AHAHAHAHA, great outcome, Brandon, way to remind us that they’re still kids! I remember thinking that kissing was pretty gross when I was a kid, too. I guess Shadow isn’t going to prefer it over the tail thing for a while.
