Nah, I don’t think it works THAT way.
Simple maths: If it lists x number of visits and y number of scares, and the higher the ratio, the better: formula is y/x. If we assume that x is the number of visits she made before visiting him and x’ is the number including this visit, we get: Before: ratio = y/x, After ratio = y/x’ (as she didn’t scare Tim, y remains the same). Expanding: Before ratio = y/x, After ratio = y/(x+1) Therefore After ratio < Before ratio (ie. her score just went down)
Wait until she finds out that Shadow’s success comes out of that

The only time that he was afraid was when he realised that she was a girl. He never feared her when he could see their differences.
That a weird way to phrase it all the time; it’s more accurate to say that he knew she was a girl, but it was when he found out they were actually ‘compatible’ that things changed.
I thought it was when he realised that she wasn’t wearing underwear (so it hit him that she’s a girl)?
Kinda hard to be scared of a cute lady who steals socks and accepts cookies as bait…
So what Shadow got wasn’t exactly fear, was it?
Not from him. The way I see it is that, over time, she learnt how humans think and was able to apply that to the times when she was trying to scare people.
She’s had access to popular culture and a human who can put things in context.
Perhaps it was fear from a… different… trigger of Tim’s.
Though the pop culture usage probably does help when she is on the clock.
I figure it’s from them watching scary movies.

that was funny with Midnight’s disappointment. Honestly, the way that she seems to do it, and that little device in her hand, seems very similar to the way they’ve been doing it in Monsters Inc. It’s as if that device is a mini version of the canisters they used in the Monster’s Inc. movie to collect screams

But it’s not collecting anything, it’s taking a measurement based off whatever readings and adding it to total sum.
