Could they have some kind of magic to change their appearance? Because that last silhouette looks like a young version of Ruth (with monster ears) and Thomas.
@-a ….. I feel like I just pieced something together via that last panel really fast. That silhouette is way too familiar, beyond that I won’t spoil if I’m right. Also been reading since the start, keep up the good work 🙂
Quite certain on who our orange friend’s secret identity is, but then again heavily implied identities have been completely red herring-ed on folks before…. (Tarn from Transformers MTME comes to mind for a recent one.)
Good advice about power.
I like the shadowy flashback collage just the right amount of ambiguity about who and what is happening in them. I particularly like that it isn’t just a set of panels but a more free floating bit.
Another red herring, Brandon? If this was what it looks like, why not just introduce herself as Tim’s mother? No reason to hide from Thomas either, unless they both know and are letting it happen on its own, like it did for them.
Tim doesn’t know; that much is for certain. Tim’s father does know and likely met her the same way that Tim met Shadow. As for letting it happen, they probably agreed that letting it happen without interference from them would be best for both of them. Of course, I’m just speculating.
IF Lady Blackheart is Tim’s mother Ruth (and note that capitalized IF), it certainly seems likely that she met Thomas the same way Shadow met Tim: sneaking out from under his bed to scare him.
Gators, check last week’s page (#94). I discuss possible outcomes near the bottom of page 2 of the comments. Brandon didn’t say I was right… but he didn’t say I was wrong either.
I guess mother’s really do know everything.
They always do.
Don’t lose your waaaaay!
Oh, you caught that reference. XD
I freaking love you dude XD
What reference?

I’unno! *exaggerated shrug*
…I think I just realized the High Mother’s true identity…
You’re right she is the boobie-monster.
Not QUITE what I had in mind. =P But I’ll keep my theory to myself.
I just hope this doesn’t become an incest case, that’s all I’M saying…
Nope, that is not the case.
Back after 2 months without Internet; the shadows on the right of the bottom paneL really clinches it xD
Omg I’m early! Moonlight showing a lot more skin then they do nowadays. Recognizable silhouettes… and wow, her tail is long. That’s a good thing.
I think this song Fits well. https://youtu.be/XqnbYUG6Bn8
That final pose… Is incredible. 15/10
Should give all the characters a moment like that.
Eventually they’ll get their moments to ‘shine’!
Hahaha, just goes to show a legend can obscure the truth of a person. Even if she’s erhh…. Ruthless perchance. =P
D’ohhohoho! *covers mouth while giggling*

Ah-hah! Thank you!
Well well, getting pretty unsubtle about Blackheart’s identity.
I have no idea what you’re talking about, honestly.
Waaaaaaait wait wait…
She wasn’t excluded because of her relationship, she ran away and THEN took refuge in her relationship ?
I’m… hu. Next week can’t come to soon to get a bit of an answer.
Also, is it the first time we see a monster with shoes ? (What ? I like stupid details…)

Yes, that last panel is why it’s a bit late this week (aside from needing sleep) I wanted it to look extra special!
Silhouette of the protagonist’s Dad? What?
Dun dun DUN!!! (By the way, Monster Momma’s dang good lookin)

Right, if Lady Darkness is Ruth, Tim’s mother and Thomas’ wife, how did she and Thomas meet?
IF Lady Blackheart is Tim’s mother Ruth (and note that capitalized IF), it certainly seems likely that she met Thomas the same way Shadow met Tim: sneaking out from under his bed to scare him.
And why doesn’t Tim show any Noxian features? Unless Ruth has disguised them the same way she disguised herself, and he doesn’t know…
Furthermore, I hope there’ll be a Halloween arc where Shadow (and maybe Midnight) gets to go Trick or treating!
Now don’t go reading Brandon’s mind. LOL.
And apologies for calling you Gators instead of Gantros. Damn autocorrect…
I wanted this last year.

So far as I remember, the stories say nothing about that.
Sorry – this was supposed to be a reply to the following comment:

So… the lost mother is actually the human kid’s mom…?
(Hell, the mole is even in the same place…)
