The question is, why does/is Ruth hiding her true form from Tim’s father? (Assuming he doesn’t know) Questions… questions…
Why would you assume he doesn’t know? With the ‘captain’ roleplay we’ve seen so far, why not a monster girl? I know it would rev MY engine.

Alright, so you’re either going to pull a fast one on us, or this confirms the rumours that she is Tim’s mom. So, this makes it either 100%, or 0%. So it averages out to 50%! Which is what we’ve been on this while time!

But wait…isn’t she also Shadow’s Aunt? Since Shadow’s mother is her sister. That would make Shadow and Tim First Cousin’s right?
Shadow isn’t Moonlight’s biological child, she’s was left on her doorstep, remember?
In that case…
I think everyone is wrong about this, that’s *not* Tim’s Dad, and Shadow is “Lady Blackheart”s biological child and half-human, which is why she’s obsessed with human things! And that’s why ‘Lady Blackheart’ is so dead set on helping her not end up like her!
And yet, there’s the fact that Shadow and Lord Mortis have the same tail design, and he’s extremely curious about her.
My guess is: Shadow is Mortis’s and Blackheart’s kid from before Blackheart disappeared to be with her human lover full-time, and the human lover is not Tim’s dad, because a) incest squick, and b) red herring.
Or maybe everyone else is right and Blackheart has no biological connection to Shadow… in which case my own theory is based on rejecting the “Ruth == Blackheart” bit because it’s too obvious.
If she’s Tims mom I wonder if he could go to shadows realm. Also would that make him half monster. By the way Brandon wouldn’t that make shadow and him family or is the sisterhood just a group of monsters and not related to one another cause if there family that would be incest

I’m glad that Shadow has someone looking out for her like this. Besides Midnight, I mean. Someone with some more experience and wisdom. Because she’s going to need it.
Well now that its more or less been confirmed (is it more, or is it less?) I am curious to see how Sunny approaches Tims side of this. Thats going to be awkward for Tim.
Would also be amusing to see her comment on Shadows trophy wall of socks, or anything else she grabbed of Tims.
If anything she might play “blissfully unaware” until they get caught or until Tim and Shadow actually tell Tim’s parents.
Now she’s looking even more and more like Tim’s mother, but I still believe it is possible that this is nothing more than a red herring.
Before, I was thinking that Lady Blackheart was Shadow’s mom (just a theory I had), but if the guy in the last panel is Tim’s dad (and Tim and Shadow get together later on), then that has some odd implications for their relationship. Maybe I’m just reading too far into things.
