Good page. It’s funny but I like the teeth effect on panels three and five. And something about that neck and panel 3 reminds me of ET.. Sorry! I guess the concert rushed the last page? Still voting daily though; multiple times. Serious question though, on the black and white page, only the last panel had final panel has line polish before color? Is that a moon with an eye in the middle of it on the cover of the book? A book of Illusions and teleportation.
So this is all in the same night that she kissed him… and Blackheart gives her approval and her help so.that shadow doesn’t lose her friend(s?) and her home. I hope Ruth wont mind this stranger intervening in her family’s life.😉

Just out of curiosity – If Blackheart really is Timmy’s mother, as hinted by many and also the same dots just left of their mouths, how do they handle the “teeth problem”? The monsters have radically different dentition than humans, after all. Is there a magical transformation or masking or whatever, or do they just have a “human teeth” mouth insert that they use when they need to pass as human? (I’m ignoring the rather different eyes for a moment …) Of course, the explanation may just be “It’ll all be explained in the comic in due time.”
Now that you mention it… How do the Noxians give head with all that sharp and pointy dentition?

Though why worry about the teeth so much when the tail is missing too (see #11)? These are critters that can just appear under your bed, why wouldn’t they have magic disguises? 🙂 Better question is, why doesn’t he have monster features? Maybe they’ll appear later… this is gonna suck when I catch up. 😀

You know when she said that last bit in the last panel…it’s like she as a mother gave her blessings to Shadow to be with Timmy…welp looks like our little Shaddy has gotten the favor of the mother…now all she has to do is meet the father >3>
Somehow I doubt having highmother Blackhearts blessing carries much weight in Nox. Well, positive weight anyway. Or on earth. Now, if she has the Admirals blessing, well, not much the Captain is gonna be able to say one way or another to that.
I wanted to write something before next page release.
I wanted to add to Lady Blackheart = Ruth theory. In some criminal movie a investigator said: “Right asked question helps solve a case”; more less. My question is: Why did Lady Blackheart appear after Tim and Shadow’s first kiss ??
What do we know about Noxians ??
– have better senses than humans (for e.g. smell)
– sense human fear and love it
– have very sensitive tail’s tip
– don’t wear underwear 🙂
IF Lady Blackheart is Mrs Newton, her appearing after T-Sh great breakthrough I can explain like that:
– she sensed fear overload from Tim’s room
– she smelled a familiar Monster’s scent
– and she read in Shadows head to sure of
IF Lady B. is NOT Ruth, she probably interests in Shadow’s unique activity (somehow detected) and researches the situation.
Maybe I didn’t discover something big but I wanted to share with it. Time reveal the truth 🙂
I know it’s probably a co-incidence but check the damage on Mother Midnight’s Aegis. Then check out how the light is shining on Shadow’s Aegis on comic 49: Nipped in the Bud. On the second panel it’s almost exactly in the same place.
Could this be seen as a form of foreshadowing?
Either Lady Blackheart is Tims mom or she is Shadows mom and Shadows dad is a human. It is possible that Tims mom also is an Nox. Or maybey Tims dad is? Maybey he is the Nox with the goaty?
Lady blackheart is Tim’s mom no doubt about it.
