This may have come up before but, is Nightmare, Moonlight’s blood daughter? I know she acts like everyone mother but, they both share the same tail shape and that is shown to have some family bond?
Moonlight has no actual biological children, though she has raised Shadow since she was left on the Guild’s doorstep as a baby; so, she sees Shadow as a sort-of daughter, but she is not officially adopted, per se. She just dotes on her a bit more than her other charges who came into the guild of their own free will.
My guess is that Nightmare is a blood relation of Moonlight’s and Blackheart’s, though, given their near-identical tail designs. (For all we know, Nightmare is Blackheart’s daughter, which would be an interesting twist.)
And Nightmare and Terminus make such a cute couple. He’s clearly manipulating her, but I wonder if/when she’ll attempt to manipulate him… maybe it’s started already? 🙂
But their tails aren’t the same! XD Nightmare’s is like a Shovel/Spade and Moonlight/Blackheart’s is a Diamond.
Welcome back, Brandon. Hope you had fun on your vacation. Can’t wait for the story to get back into the swing of things. 🙂

Here’s the deal, when I’m reading a story or watching a movie, TV show or whatever, at certain parts of it, I get… vibes. I get certain vibes about certain scenes, and they’re almost always right. I look at those two, and I’m getting some bad vibes from them. This is the first set of vibes I’ve gotten from this comic in a while, so I’m not sure how bad they are.
I have an idea what the socks are all about, but i do not think i’m right …
When are you telling us about the socks ?

Love that surprised expression in panel 2. I heartily encourage you to pull off more stuff like that!
I also like the almost heart their tails are making in the final panel. Make me kinda hope they do have some legitimate good times together.
