Literally ONE person said anything like that and they didnt even directly say that Brandon said it. They only made the statement like they were saying it to Brandon. So yeah, wrong on two counts there buddy. Foot, meet mouth.
Brandon is the author, so yes, in a way it was him saying it. Of course it’s the mother talking in the panel.

I don’t know well they both have curved hair (at least of what we can see of lady blackheart) the mothers is more of a jagged curve but lady blackheart is more just curved just going one way not like the mothers who is zigzagging
But I mean, she just specifically said she’s not a monster, so that’s totally been cleared up 😛
The lesson here is that You should NEVER take things like that at face value when it comes to a storyline… There is almost always something hidden between the lines… You just have to know how to look for it.

I just got the feeling that, as a kid developing feelings for another, he might just have made the most basic wish of “I hope me and Shadow can be together forever,” not stating anything about being FRIENDS or something more.
Also this whole Mum is Lady Blackheart stuff… Bradon, you have us sticking our noses in every bush we can find, meanwhile you are paiting pictures in the clouds. I wonder when some of us look up.
Yeah, that was my thought too for the wish, since the last line implies it’s something that’s already happened or ongoing, and he and shadow are clearly still together in the future.
