Awww, when I read Shadow wanted to come clean I thought she meant her Sock sniffing habit. She still doesn’t trust him enough to tell him.
Brandon, will Tim ever find out what Shadow does with his Socks?
Y’know, if I didn’t know better, I’d say that Blackheart is being deliberately vague and mysterious to annoy Shadow and her Mother, rather than stay ahead of those who might wish her harm…
Okay Brandon, if you could adapt this into a cartoon, what kind of style would you use to portray your art style? By that I mean cell shaded, computer generated, hand drawn, or flash?
Your art style actually would work quite well in a animation, how you draw joints and faces means that with a bit of prep work you could potentially animate it all just with minor tweaks after building up enough prefab parts for each character. No need to redraw characters over a thousand times for a 50 second scene.
I know a guy who used to do that sort of thing for his comic. It’s not so much a level as a style. Reason he stopped doing that was because, even after spending literally tens of thousands of dollars, his original 3d models were corrupted beyond any hope of retrieval. So he instead got this other guy, who happened to be a fan of his webcomic, to do the last few chapters of said webcomic, in a similar style, but in 2d hand-drawn.
The guy? Scott Christian Sava. The comic? The Dreamland Chronicles.
…He actually works with Pixar. He started the whole thing with the Animal Crackers movie, worked at it for years, and now it’s becoming a thing.
I absolutely cant wait till he introduces her to Mom and Dad. Talk about letting all the kittens out of the bag. It should be riot. “WHAT? What do you mean you want to marry her?”
Hi Brandon,
I been reading your story pretty much since you started it. I look forward to reading the new pages each Sunday.
What happens when Tim leaves home for college or, when he moves into his first place? When and if that happens. how will she find his door, or will she go with him and then find out where under his bed goes? could be that the book will enable her to link back to his original door. Or will he be living with Mom and Dad in his twenties. He really doesn’t seem the type. one other thought: the door may be linked to the bed so no matter where he goes, as long as he has that bed she can use the same door. Its going to be a lot of fun to find out.
Trust him with this warning.
Don’t just walk away.
Picture in his sock drawer
Might cause a ricochet.
Hey, wasn’t it her who said
It’s very bad to have that image.
And wasn’t it he who said
It had to leave the line of scrimmage.
Must’ve brought risk of danger
In this life that was yours to live.
We can understand her taping that thing
Just to have a gift to give…
Hmm he is a guy but then again he has fear of women…. But he isn’t afraid of them for that reason but his mother “DOES” see all the dirty secrets in the house. Emergancy snacks and R-rated movies that arn’t ment for people his age?
This is another good comic, thank you.
fantastic comic i love it!!!! i cant wait till every Sunday to read the next page, wish it came out faster i can hardly wait haha

Oh, maybe someday.
Y’know, if I didn’t know better, I’d say that Blackheart is being deliberately vague and mysterious to annoy Shadow and her Mother, rather than stay ahead of those who might wish her harm…
Ok i am back! wow i had some catching up to do! haven’t bin here since the beginning of this chapter. but it feel good to be back :3
This needs to be adapted into a cartoon…. PX
That would be awesome
I wonder how that would work I mean without all the nudity and sex it could easily be a kid show or something like that

I’m really not sure. Probably hand-drawn unless I could get Pixar/Disney level CGI as an option.
Well your necks are nearing Peter Chung levels in this page…
Neat! I’ll take that as a compliment!

Once a week is all I can afford time-wise, just be lucky you get any updates at all. 😉
Panels 3 and 5, roll credits.
Panels 2 and 6, she looks cuite and a little hint of “aah, he does care”.
I absolutely cant wait till he introduces her to Mom and Dad. Talk about letting all the kittens out of the bag. It should be riot. “WHAT? What do you mean you want to marry her?”
Actually, I suspect that this would go down very well… once they are a tad older xD
I think R-uthie and Thomas Newton already know…

Next page: sudden, spontaneous, nymphomania hits every character.

I wonder what else he keeps in that “off-limits’ drawer of his

Will we ever in the future find out somehow what tims wish was?
Maybe, but I think we can all guess what he wished for. 😉
