#148 “Something’s Missing”
UPDATE: Sunday, April 8th –
Sorry for taking so long on page #149, but I’ve been having some problems with my wrist. I’m currently using a wrist brace I bought to alleviate some of the problem (I won’t say ‘pain’, exactly, because it doesn’t actually hurt much) and I have been working on the new page, but it is slow going with this thing on my hand.
Between my day job (which has had a heavy work load going through lately) and the comic, I believe I have strained my wrist slightly, as my hand tends to go numb/tingly, or feel cramped every few minutes while drawing, but returns to normal quickly when I take a break. Hopefully, after this all blows over it will return to normal, but in the meantime, I’ll be taking care of myself.
Expect the next page sometime this week once I finish it, and that will end Chapter 3 of the comic! Woo-Hoo!
Keep up with me over on Twitter or my Facebook fan-page for more regular updates. Links are on the left hand margin over there on the side of the website!

Oh yeah, I’ve also edited the Ghostbusters poster out of the last two pages, because, well, it was cluttering up the scenes and really clashed with the characters. Yeah.
There. That oughta do it.
Don’t forget to visit a neurologist so you don’t miss any of the early symptoms of something bad.
And it-it’s not like I care for you, baka, I just want the comic I can read. Y-yes, the comic is the only thing I want, and you can’t write one if you suffer a disease you could have prevented! Baka!
so don’t over do it , sounds like carpel tunnel or lot of stress on wrist .hope you are better soon really .
If you use a mouse, stop that right away, and get a trackball. My wrist pains have pretty much vanished after I got a Logitech Trackman Marble. I’ve heard a lot of praise for Kensington’s trackballs too. Also, if you type a lot, look into mechanical keyboards.
those mice are expensive though, you’re referring to the marble fx model right?
What? No, just Trackman Marble. The FX seems to be “vintage” so it’s far more expensive.
Rest your wrist, we can wait.
Help for your wrist – borrow THE TRIGGER POINT THERAPY WORKBOOK from your local library, or just buy a copy somewhere (a book store, or Amazon). Using its techniques could save you discomfort, trips to the doctor, and expensive therapies that poke at symptoms without stopping their causes. Best wishes to you!
Does anyone else hear the dad’s voice from Dexter’s Lab when Tim’s dad speaks? No…Just me? That’s ok
I’m more parcel to J. Michael Tatum as Thomas.
on that subject, I think Elizabeth Maxwell as Ruth/Lady Blackheart, Robbie Daymond as Tim (adult), Caitlin Glass as Shadow(adult) are good choices
Weren’t there stars around the rose in the last frame before. It kinda looks weird.
I see that the poster I complained about vanished. But now the sparkles that were around the flower are gone?
That sometimes happens when somebody complains.
You find that the changes go further than you want or expect.
It’s called The Law of Unintended Consequences and it happens to us all.
*Now with sparkles again!
…and with a wave of the magic artist’s wand, Brandon performs his miracles again- just for Riger (not a tiger)
Getting tired of the small changes….
Alright, if nobody else asks it, I will.
Brandon, it’s been almost 150 pages. How long until shadow starts to try to collect all seven chaos emeralds?
Wrong franchise. But, solid effort, so kudos to you 👍
******SPOILERS!!!******
Brandon, please don’t respond.
It may (or may not) happen when Brandon wills it.
Other readers waiting in happy suspense for “what happens next” are now disappointed at a premature revelation or misled into following what may be The Path of the Red Herring.
I don’t know which and have no desire to know before Brandon’s revelations.
Shame on you Lance for trying to spoil the story.
Fie upon you, your pets and your family!
Not my pets 🙁
yes!
All of them-kittens, puppies, hamsters and giraffes. all into a hessian sack weighted down with bricks, and hurled mightily into the nearest ocean, pond, river or sewer.
NOTHING is too much effort for a spoiler-monger. (next episode – the family!)
Badda Bing badda bam now your wrist is broken and you won’t be able to do the next part of the story till it’s healed
I think you have mistaken me for somebody much more important & relevant to the ongoing tale of Shadow & Tim.
I hope this comic will be endless, this comic is the best thing I have ever seen
Hope you feel better. Great page.
If it’s carpal tunnel, extand the affected hand palm upwards,, let the wrist go limp, and slightly press the other hand on the palm to slowly and gentle press excess fluid out of the affected wrist. Worked for me anyways. Just carefully.
Sounds to me like Carpal tunnel or tendinitis. I have that in my right wrist.
Possibly. Either way, I’m being mindful of it.
