this comic is interesting, very different from most web comics. tbh i was scrolling for porn on discord then this boio named shaggy introduced me into it. i was expecting porn but found wholesome content wtf bruh
OMG so in love with this flippin book its amazing
so brandon i know this is random and completely unrelated to whats happening on the current page but i just wanted to confirm something that has been knocking around the back of my mind since i started reading. Was shadow’s obsession with collecting tim’s socks a foot fetish kind of thing or a scent fetish kind of thing. Speaking personally I know that a well worn pair of socks can have a fairly strong scent to them and i know she LOVES the way tim smells but there are better pieces of clothing than socks to steal for scent so i was just curious.
yeah, it’s just for his scent… socks are small and easy to miss, until, you’re missing all of them anyway.
So you swap. Return an old one when you take a fresh one.
They tried a scent experiment with girls at an all girl school. Had boys wear a t-shirt at night (air conditioned building), than they had the girls put it into their pillow case.
I think that their menstrual cycles calmed down. There was a response at any rate.
There is a classic “T-shirt” experiment which was used to test “genetic compatibility”.
Shirts were worn for 3 days by both men and women and then swapped and smelled and rated either attractive or repulsive.
Results were that genetic differences were “attractive”; similarities were not.
This appears to be biology’s way to prevent incest because your brother/sister/father actually stinks.
Conclusion: Shadow and Tim are less likely to be related.

I actually like this page. I don’t remember her almost losing the book though. I give this page 4 and 1/2 flour boxes out of 5. And one Thanos *snap*.

SVTFOE was more of a blow then GOT. I just love living bi-curiously through the characters because Disney love stories are better than real life love stories and I’ve never experienced something like that myself. It’s the same reason I’ve been a fan of this comic.

The “cookie stash” doesn’t literally have their names on it, though, so I’m not sure how that’ll lead Tim to the truth, and the book will be hidden away for prying eyes never to see, until the time comes.

Well, we’ve seen him with an aegis so he can obviously use some of their stuff. And he at least has some Nox blood in him if that makes a difference at all, so maybe not impossible? Could be a way for her to smuggle him in for a peek around her world at some point if he can maintain a disguise. It would only be fair, no?
Consider another possibility: the aegis may be a TOOL. Anyone can pick up a hammer and use it. Those with experience may use it more efficiently, but it can be used by anyone.

They’re generally referred to either as monsters (since they’re monsters under the bed) or Noxians, since they’re from Nox. Not sure if they have a word for their own species.
Humans call them Monsters, they call themselves Noxians.
Polite humans, who want to be more formal, could call them “Creatures of the Night” because Nox is the Latin word for”night” and “monster” has pejorative connotations.
