Well, to be fair, they aren’t really FIGHTING, it’s more like they are spending some time apart. Next time they get together things should be a bit more civil. There’s just a few complications to get through first.

Easiest solution for all involved would be for shadow to tell tim, then he can ask marcy if she took his scissors with her, planting reasonable doubt through a bit of gaslighting. Especially if he can ask her before she confronts him or starts talking to others about it.
But that would not be nearly as interesting as potential drama, or shadow sneaking in and stealing them back.
Could work, but that’s not the plan. XD

Well that’s a good point but some middle schoolers would do that on there school supplies to let teacher’s or other students to return to there owners ( if lost ) or just not to lose them without knowing who it belongs to

Well if this causes Marcy to think of Tim as a freak, then she’ll likely stay away from him. Which means Shadow won’t have to worry about her flirting with Tim anymore. Of course this could also make Tim’s school life even more of a pain since I can see Marcy spreading rumors about Tim as a result of all this around school. Tim might give Shadow a real stern talking to if/when he figures out Shadow’s part in this.

Does anyone else think there’s something unusual about Marcie?
Yeah… she doesn’t seem so freaked out that she found scissors with Tim’s name on them in her room.
This might backfire on Shadow in the sense that Marcy might be more into Tim as a result of this. Would explain her lack of horror/disgust at the idea of a boy she likes who was apparently in her room without permission.
There’s also the fact that Tim doesn’t really like to pursue things with her this quickly.
