Call me crazy, but I WORRY for Nightmare, even if she does have her own agenda. Somehow, I fear Terminus would “terminate” her and many others to obtain whatever his true goals may be. ((Although as charming as Terminus may be, Nightmare and Anna may find their version of justice in the end.))
When you take into account only what we have learned from the web comic, nightmare’s actions so far are quite understandable. She got where she was by hard work, and is annoyed that someone else is beating her with methods that neither of them really understand. Cheating in a sense.
The drawings imply that she is not a schemer, just a teenage girl that has fallen for a monster. Other definition.
Terminus only cares about Terminus, and would throw his mother under the bus to get what he wants. Or nightmare.
What would be the point?
Also, she doesn’t seem to have any specific agenda. Just a desire to increase her status and no clue of how. So she did the second best thing and followed the first guy who looked like he got ambition, some idea, and need of a minion.
So yeh past few weeks have been about Marcy, Terminus & Nightmare going to confront Timmy.
And we all know that Tim’s mom is supposed to be intervening when sh*t goes down.
But can I just say I’m rooting for Tim’s dad instead, I’ve been feeling he knows too much to have such little impact.
Though now I’ve got this image of Anna and her kid sister Marcy – nah, that’s not gonna happen, too contrived for this book, make it just Anna – standing over Terminus’s broken and bleeding body at the end of it all, as Anna holds up her half-Noxian daughter in one hand and a smoking gun in the other. “Say ‘hi’ to your daddy, Dawnie. Now say ‘goodbye’ to your father, Dawnie.”
Guns are only useful when you have a healthy industrial complex. Noxians would use a knife. They can be reused, so long as you remember to pull it out of the victim.
Now you have to hand it to Terminus. Poor Nightmare is having a back problem and he is helping give her the extra support that is needed. A real gentleman to think of her comfort at a time like this.
I’m seriously starting to fear for Tim’s safety.

Hmmm… it’s a complicated situation!
All right then, you’re crazy.

I imagine that terminus will most likely stab her in the back (quite literally), snatch her aegis and leave her stranded in the human world
Dude!!! Scored himself a reach-around!
Dude could probably bend her over real easy at this point.
I have the feeling they will by mistake kidnap Marcy. Shades of ‘Ransom of Red Chief.”

Termite really is a charming bastard.

Yes, but Anna’s human. 🙂

And then he sticks it up her butt, yeah, exactly!

You gotta admit though, if Nightmare wasn’t so cruel and mean, her personality on these sorts of things would make her a pretty fun girlfriend.
She’d just need a better personality with other things.

Only five pages away from the 200th page! You got anything BIG planned for it?
Sort of. It falls in the middle of a pretty important scene. At least, currently it does. Hah.
Ah yes. The Evilrection. A terminal case for lustful villains who will meet their end.
Damn, i love this comic, but 30 pages in a year are very few.
Yeah, I know. I wish I could pump ’em out faster, but I just don’t have the time.
Nightmare seems oddly submissive with Terminus.
Because he is her teacher/master/lord now.
