anyway it would be strange if she wouldn’t be able to do so considering she is the one who gave the magical book to Shadow for Halloween and Shadow was also able to change in a blink of an eye. Right ?
We’ll hold you to that, though I think I have an idea: I noticed in that first panel that her tail was wagging. Could that have something to do with it?
Perhaps not so much wagging as fading away as the charm took effect.

We stick with Ruth and Thomas next, then Tim and Company in his room. Then Nox stuff again for a bit, and THEN well, a big scene that’s been 5 years in the making.
I hope we see Tim find out the truth before 2021.

Well, I guess in a technical sense, since you don’t, normally, know what’s about to happen, each page of a novel would be a cliffhanger. Of course, I know better. As you so aptly say, the cliffhanger was “invented” with the serials from the 30s through the early 60s. The most famous of which were the western and sci-fi serials.

Well, Tim’s mother used to have the book. Maybe she studied the “Look like a human” spell so much she can do it on command?
She may still have it, too.

In D&D terms, the spell is a cantrip, one you know so well you can cast it instantaneously and at any time without needing to study it beforehand.
I think one of my favorite parts about this is the improvement of the art style over the course of the years and how much time Brandon has invested into making both the story and art as best he possibly can and even beyond that, It really shows just how much a person can do if they really put there mind to something they truly enjoy, Over all you’ve made one hell of a community here and I only hope it grows bigger and better with each new page, Cant wait to see how it ends man keep up the phenomenal work.
I suspect that the feedback and community involvement is a MAJOR factor in keeping Brandon going on and developing his skills.

If it is like most other “perfectly normal study sessions” as done by high schoolers then I hope Tim at least uses protection.
I don’t think the girl is that sort. She is clearly meant to be very pretty, that sort learns to say no quickly, since they certainly get asked a lot.
