Well, the $50K question is, do they know about Ruth and by extension Tim…?
Educated guess, no, but they’re about to learn real soon…
Obviously not yet, or they would become a nuisance already.
The only lead is Halloween incident. As a result of either Craig opening his big mouth (did anyone but his girlfriend ever hear?) or some third party noticing Shadow while she hissed, that is #132-#134 (which is very tenuous, unless this witness also recognized Tim despite bad lighting and not being close).

… alright, I’ll bite. Metal Gear Solid reference, or celebrity reference?
This organization is at least somewhat organized and funded. Seeing as they have uniforms which are color coded to denote rank and position. Though not exactly competent seeing as the girl was able to escape her room. It’s definitely too lax to be anything but amateur.
Thus, someone’s catspaws.
Maybe one wanted to. Maybe the lock was supposed to be closed, but they were sabotaged. Maybe someone decided there is to be change of plans. Maybe it was deliberate, to use intimidation, but not outright force.
It’s hard to tell.
Yay. Thank you for moving the story along. It will probably shave off a year of real time. And I want to see more of Tim and Shadow and Tim’s family. And all of people around them.
I still don’t understand this odd craving. But as a matter of fact, the final of this story was already published.

You know I wonder how many of them themselves are hybrids like Tim, I wonder how much this kid that she’s gonna have is gonna end up being poked and prodded, I really hope this kid gets a happy childhood. Because I don’t care if the kid’s a hybrid all I care about is the kid is brought up right.
I see 3 possible twists on this:
A) mommy issues?
B) addict behaviour (adrenaline junkie on a quest for the best thrill ever) while fooling themselves about their motives? (q.v. some vampire hunters in he settings when vampire bites feel good enough that mental addiction is on the table)
C) strategy, in that the most complete way to neutralize a hostile force is turning it into your puppet? (q.v. history of ⅩⅦ-ⅩⅩ centuries for examples)
Which way?
Also, when Anna is going to figure this out and fall back to escape.
This makes me wonder if Tim isn’t the only hybrid out there. It also makes me wonder what they think of interspecies coupling between humans and noxians that choose to be together like Tim’s parents. They exactly sound like they’re “for” it.

The phrase “the Noxian threat” is inherently predjudiced and will very easily morph to “the Noxian enemy”.
If/whem THAT happens, the door upens to open warfare and the commision of further atrocities.
Further?? Yes, the kidnapping and illegal detention of an unnamed Noxian male is one.
The kidnap ans detention of Anna is another.
Dr Campbell has displayed no legal authority for her (or the orgaisation’s) actions.
They’re organised and funded enough {don’t ask by whom} to have pretty uniforms, so did the NSDAP’s Sturmabteilung and Schuetstaffel.

The first is extremely redundant. The second… perhaps many would like to try, but, um, how do you picture the process?
Technically, it cannot be “illegal”. Since he is neither a citizen, subject of any foreign power recognized as such or human at all. Of course, practically for any interested party this would not matter either way.

Legality varies between jurisdictions and even within the same jurisdiction at times.
Many jurisdictions regard “indefinite detention” or extra-legal rendition (such as at Gitmo) illegal but in the USA they’re not.
It applies only to legal “persons”. Which are never AFAIK defined as broadly as “animal on 2 legs with flat nails” (though the Noxians won’t meet the last criterion even in this).
Obviously, many sovereignties would consider a clearly sapient non-human to be something that requires top level attention, thus unauthorized messing with such an entity (without immediate necessity) in any way whatsoever ultra vires even for most law enforcement organizations. But that’s another matter.
Our clandestine agencies (ASIO & ASIS) aren’t uniformed at all.
Nor are the Three Letter Agencies elsewhere CIA, NSA DIA, GRU, KGB,NKVD ,OGPU, Cheka, MI6/5, Mossad, DSD9 etc.
Everyone’s gottem but they don’t wear uniforms if they’re serious.
… except for the USA’s FBI who have made “white shirt and black trousers” an unoficial uniform.
Sorry, Defence Signals Directorate is a military agency and therefore IS uniformed.
I have insufficient knowledge about their Section 9 to know what its remit or operationa; areas might include.

so was Ruth 1 they captured and she fell in love with Tim’s dad both took off when she got pregnant
because Tim’s dad knows all about noxians everything going on
could tim be first hybrid now shes having 1 but will it be hybrid or just baby human not full hybrid

The captured noxian was actually male so that discards Ruth already leaving our only known option which can be Mortis or any other male noxian we may not know (Since Terminus would be too young ot Pax still be too old at that time)
could be Ruth’s dad Tim’s grand father cant be shadows dad because Ruth is only noxian went after human her sister said it long ago Ruth fell loved human when Ruth had book said to shadow family secret gave shadow book to turn human
that’s why thought was Ruth who escaped but didn’t see him part so could be her father who fell for her mother or Tim’s dad mom

This would have to be taken with a grain of salt. A large grain, and solid, no-nonsense salt. Maybe a whole stalagmite.
Especially if foundlings in baskets like Shadow are not very unusual.
