Ah, good ol’ D&D. The one place where starting a fire inside an abandoned temple is considered a good option for distracting enemies, killing enemies before the boss fight, or rescuing prisoners. Sometimes all three at the same time.
It was implied the Brotherhood uses closets and I don’t know if the monsters under the bed know enough about the monsters in the closet to use their portals.
If i recall Brandon’s design correctly, only Noxian females (the girls) use the bed exits and the male Noxians use the closets, excusively.
Yes, it’s gender-exclusivity and that’s how it’s written.
Moonie was the one who threw Shade into prison. I doubt Mid would trust her or risk ending up thrown in a cell herself. IIRC Mid does know about Ruthless but might not trust the missing mother either, she is kind of a boogeyman among her generation.
True, but I think she knows well enough to understand that Shadow is in a LOT more trouble now, in his hands, then she was before. But Tim is with her, i would think that would count for something with his mother. Especially since she knows (?) Ruth was watching out for Shadow. Which itself brings up an interesting question once again of why she went and got Tim but didn’t think to alert his mom.
On the moon thing. Someone down more suggested midnight might take Tim to Moon to “turn him in”.. maybe in an attempt to open dialogue.
Can be because of the heat of the moment, she was driven by vengeance and tried to kill Tim, once she realized he’s not enemy just went like “lets tag along and do it ourselves” something very common when young and inexperienced people, or maybe she just wanted to keep the secret too. So the terrible idea can be either go tell Moon or do something even more stupid (Go tell Ruth can be, but can turn worse since at this point she can be having her fun with Thomas and could trigger “Vietnam flashbacks” right from the beginning of the story).
Middy seems to be grinning about “the terrible plan” in that last panel.
Is she perhaps going to outfit Tim with a skirt and (fake) tits and send him to seduce, then assassinate, Terminus (or Nightmare)?
Yes, it’s “a terrible plan” but it will embarass her ‘dogboy’.
l Ithink the word is not precise enough. Shouldn’t IT change by a more specific like malevolent, destructive, astonishing or disruptive… Toe terrible is too generic of a word. IT does not mean much and that is a blatant loss.
… but an author (in this case Brandon) will often use a more imprecise descriptor to create uncertainty in the mind of the reader where uncertainty is necessary to the plot.
We do not know (and are not intended to know at this time) details of Midnight’s plan.
If Brandon had said “soporific” or “pyroclastic” that would have given us too much detail.
My 0% chance of occurring theory ever since Moonlight was surprised by the grimoire is that she magically turns Tim into a Noxian. No human relationship, no crime.
Those are the best ideas. Ask any D&D group. The worst idea is the one they all go with.

Scene change to where, exactly?
Also, great work.👍👍
… Why do I feel like they are gonna portal to someone’s bedroom and portal to Brotherhood territory?

Unrelated Note: While Tim and Shadow are my OTP, I think my OT3 for the comic is Tim x Shadow x Midnight.
Tim, when a girl wants something and cheerfully says she has a terrible idea on how to get it, have an escape plan ready.
The Plan:
RUN! Where!? IN ANY DIRECTION QUICKLY!!!!
“I have a plan!” “Oh, God!” —repeated lines on “Perfect Strangers.”
Time for a pizza party and or romantic date? Something useful you say? Oh too bad.
She has an idea? Going to Moon or Tim’s mom maybe?
Tim, you better have a plan B! lol
Thanks for the new page Brandon.
Plan B could have been the camera

Mid knows Shade was on death row. As bad as termite is, he ain’t worse trouble than that. She doesn’t know Moon is trying to find a loophole.
I just realized Noxians are four-fingered because I spent too much time trying to figure out why Midnight’s hand looks weird to me.
And only three toes!
….and claws on ALL of them!
Hope the terrible idea is take them down quick Hitman style

Turning Tim into a femboy is a very terrible idea not just for the story but also for the fan artists
So, it’s a plan, it’s feasible but it’s still terrible. (Sucks to be a fan artist.)

Fun times happen from terrible ideas
Ah, she’s got a cunning plan. This outta go well, right Edmund Blackadder?
Deny everything, Balderick!
Two wrongs don’t make a right, Midnight. You’re gonna need 3 of them
She’s gonna hand Tim over to High Mother Moonlight isn’t she?
“Hand Tim over” or actually hand him over. It would be a good way maybe for them to attempt to open dialogue.
