Hmm, since Tim has a basketball and baseball bat in his room, is it possible he is on the high school team for them?🏀⚾️
He has played sports in school, yes. He isn’t on any official teams but his friend Spencer is! (And Craig is on the basketball team.)
Which sports team is Spencer on? Also, will we see him again this chapter?

We won’t see him this chapter, but he’ll be around next chapter for sure!
At least Ruth knows that Timmy is NOT out playing night basketball or rounders (or baseball).

Well he’s Certainly NOT getting gang-banged by a cadre of Horny Noxian Girls… well not yet at least!!
As far as Ruth can tell right now, he might be.
In his bedroom, there is no evidence to the contrary.
I had all that in my bedroom but I never played on any high school teams. (Come to think of it, the only high school sports team I remember we had was soccer. Private high school.)
Hopefully, she will travel to Nox to protect Tim and Midnight.
Well, she his one, after all. It also looks like they have a good sense of scent ? So maybe that will lead her down there.
Has she been avoiding getting down up to now ? Had she fled ? Can she oppose the rulers there ? It doesn’t look like her sister has a real feud against her, but the suspicious guys look like they’re plotting against her sister’s authority, so lots of things may happen…

She knows something’s up now. It shouldn’t take her long to figure out that she should investigate. Only one real place he could be and she knows it is a very dangerous place for him and that she girls would never take him there less it was an emergency.

I was wondering earlier what the bat was for since Tim didn’t take it with him.
Brandon, you’ve expanded the range of Ruth’s expressions both in Panel 1 and Panel 5.
The latter I’d call “fond exasperation”, should anyone ask.
Most kids would use pillows.
For the moment, Ruth doesn’t know what is going on. She only knows that Tim left home. But considering the nose of a mother, I am sure she will enter Noxus soon.

I agree. Now all we need is opinions on who would be best suited to voice the characters (so we can picture their voices in our head when we read the comic).
I’ve never really thought about it for long myself. Over the years I’ve had ideas, but i can’t even remember any good ones anymore. Usually it’s while I’m watching something I go…. Hey, that’d be a cute voice for someone!

She’s particularly impressed he was able to balance a bat on a basketball so solidly that it didn’t even fall when she lifted the blanket. I mean that is a skill.

Clearly feasible without magic.remember blankets may serve to block the bat and the ball from moving.

True, but also she’s a mom, and she knows he’s doing something stupid and reckless… You know, like all teenagers.
Guess Noxians have a more powerful sense of smell than humans
In Panel 3 Ruth’s first sniff tells her there’s no recent sexual activity, her second sniff reveals a lack of the normal teenage boy smell (believe me, that’s a REAL thing – and noticeable)…. and so she wonders, “where has he gone?”
“What is a mother to do?” Offhand, I’d say, drop her facade, head to Nox, and bring Tim home, after rescuing Shadow of course.
Dang, she sniffed first. Wonder if Tim knows that sex leaves an odor behind?
