Considering Midnight has sharp teeth and claws, I would think that’s a very bad idea. Actually I was surprised that Tim agreed to Shadow’s plan to throw a blanket over Midnight then jump on her way back on page 49 Chapter 2 Nipped in the Bud.
You know. I wonder if Tim will learn the truth about his mother being Lady Blackheart soon. Not out of choice, but necessity. Perhaps she senses something in Nox and realizes Tim is there. When she finds him. He and shadow are in danger and she saves both of them, perhaps in a team up with Lady Moonlight. 🤔
i have a theory that the ending will have tim learn about his moms secret and she help free shadow whale he kill terminus

In creative writing terminology, we call that the “unreliable narrator”.
While that is true, in creative writing we often call that the ‘setup’ even if it never becomes truly relevant again, especially in continuous media like webcomics. Another wonderful webcomic author, DaveB, used that for his GrrlPower comic. He’s stated at times he doesn’t know if he will ever actually get to the point where that ‘future’ that started everything is ‘current’ and the characters have evolved over the years so much they aren’t really becoming much like who they supposedly become, they are way cooler already then that old future showed.
Risk you take. Note that even “The Lord of the Rings” telegraphs in the forewords that certain characters survived it all.
