Perhaps he isn’t human. His mom isn’t so maybe she’s put a glamour of sorts over him and pretended he was human this entire time. She was like one of the most powerful nox witches, yes?
He is, and is KNOWN to be, ‘a hybrid’ and Terminus {and therefore also Nightmare} wants to have his blood to help in his ritual to open the lost (hidden) door that he killed Lord Mortis about.
Whether Ruth has placed a long-term glamour on him is doubtful, firstly that Brandon has given us the lore that “hybrid” children take their father’s appearance; secondly, a permanent long-term casting is a serious ongoing drain on the caster’s mana.
Most won’t do that.

Assuming (always risky) that Tim’s moving, is he revealing “all” in a public place or is he being more discreet in showing Eclipse what he is?

It’s a missing tail. The white lines are like in a cartoon where something should be, but isn’t!
I had to look at it twice and then got the intention because of the “tail” remark. Let’s say the outline wasn’t there, then it looks like Eclipse is checking out Tim’s crotch and is surprised because she was expecting a woman (Midnight is gay and there are seldom men in the Sisterhood’s territory, either works). I still blame myself for getting confused at first though

In my head I can see it blinking in and out if it was animated, I just had no idea what I was looking at. I didn’t think it was an outline of Tim’s genitals, don’t know where Tomokatu came up with that one unless it was a joke. The angle of Eclipse’s gaze is what drew my eyes first.
I didn’t actually think the dashed lines were s’posed to be Tim’s genitals – I thought they were describing movement, I dunno of what.
It was only after Brandon’s correction that I twigged that they were parallel all the way and could be used to mark the absence of a tail.
Like you, I first noted the angle of Eclipse’s gaze and thought she was looking at Tim’s package.
Ha, I had taken your comment about Tim revealing everything that part of what you thought were movement lines was alluding to him having a big, swinging dick. We’ve seen it but it’s not THAT big. Bartender, another round of misinterpretations on me!

I watched the entirety of the ABC hit TV series LOST… And this plan is still somehow stupider than everything both Jack and Kate ever thought of combined.
And the thing is, I know it works out in the end. I know Shadow and Tim get together and have a happily ever after. We all know that. But the trainwreck building up to that is already trying to come off the rails.
Well does Sparkles meet what her name means? Clearly not sure. To me, for the moment, it is just smokes and mirrors…
