#56 “Cards on the Table”
“Well, it seems like we have a done deal! Just sign your soul… I mean your signature right here.”
Just kidding. It’s no Faustian deal.

How do I submit my drawings? ( the first one isn’t finished, but I wanted to get your opinion on it)
You can send me a link (or just post it) up on my Facebook page.

Okay. I’ll make a Facebook account tomorrow then. I can’t wait until Sunday!!!
that poster frightens me
Well, it IS a horror movie poster. 😉
I’m just a boy who can’t say no,
Here with these incubus chicks.
I find I’m here just with the flow,
Practicing politics.
Though I’m happy to have met this girl,
I feel I’m short-a volume in the stack.
But as soon as Shadow talks to me,
I somehow, sorta, need to get the knack.
Here in my room when lights are out,
I’m not some troublesome saint,
Not under any restraint,
I find I have no complaint,
I can’t say no!
—“I Cain’t Say No,” Oklahoma. (Better late than never, unless it’s better never than late.)
Aren’t incubi just male succubi? I don’t understand this song. Why did he say incubus chicks and not succubus?
Either way, she is neither species… XD
It’s difficult to come up with something with just the right number of syllables…
And THIS is the part where they BOTH lose their *Aaaah-oooooooooo-gaaaaaaaah*
Faust type deals are trouble, but what you really have to watch out for is Faustino deals. You get to be a famous TV star in your teens, but then you get cast as a loser and you never really get to grow up or do anything after that.
Hmm… Well, that looks odd.
Does anyone else notice in panel 4 that the poster with a skull has some white piece being (partly) blocked by Tim’s mouth and if you look at it from perspective, it looks like he has a buck tooth?
Anyone?
I saw the nsfw warning and figured it would be…. the obvious thing.
But this is SO MUCH MORE COMPELLING than I imagined it would be.
It’s like some perfect exploration of the idea of a monster under the bed as a metaphor. I dont just mean that he’s afraid of girls, but that it could also represent puberty…. or some shit. Idk I’m trying not to overthink.
