Dun, dun, dun, and the plot thickens, Now things are getting interesting. I get the feeling she knows a lot more about Shadow than she’s letting on.
She might have a black heart, but the covering is a lovely shade of orange

Let’s see here… ears akin to Shadow’s, tail same shape as Moonlight’s, Gloom’s skin tone but without the markings. Come to think of it, I don’t see any markings at all on Blackheart, save a lone mole near the lip. That alone seems rare for Noxians. And a platinum blonde like the Admiral rather than a strawberry blonde like Shadow, but still both are kinda blond. I think Blackheart is Moonlight’s sister, and biological mother to both Shadow and Gloom, with Shadow born after Blackheart disappeared.
(I keep having to stop myself from spelling it “Xiado”; been eyeballs deep in Chinese naming schemes lately, research for a Pyramid article.)
Overall, I think Lady Blackheart has been paying extremely close attention to who goes through what door, and noticed Shadow’s almost nightly excursions to the same room. Shadow coming out giddy from that door just confirmed Blackheart’s suspicions, hence the “dangerous game” comment. I’d also wager that Moonlight has kept in touch with Blackheart over the years, protecting her from repercussions, and passed a message to her sister about Shadow’s score jump, which got Blackheart curious.
Personally, I think if anyone can help Shadow and Tim keep their relationship on the hush-hush, it’s Blackheart (meaning that epitaph is probably a misnomer…)

Yowza, Shadow gets a whole gamut of emotions in just one page. Particulary like the shock and sound effects for the Funbag Airbag bit.
Kind of surprised that miss blackheart there has showed up so soon, I was expecting it to be a more far off foreshadowed event.
I enjoy shaking up people’s expectations a bit. 😉
I’m loving all the conspiracy theories on Lady Blackheart that people are making. Some of them are closer to the mark than people might think (not saying which ones, though, because spoilers).

LB: My sister says that one of her girls is always out at night and that she found socks appearing in her room.

LB: This girl keeps on talking about Timothy. Could we arrange a meeting?

Ya, I read the story, and am surprised she shows up here.
But since the comic had diverged quite a bit from the story, I’m thinking a lot of what would be spoilers would now be red herrings. Still wondering about the big one on Blackheart though. Ah well, I shall watch and see.
