That first few panels where she seems to be trying to suck some extra fear out of Tim’s forehead with the Aegis is hilarious!
I hope by the time Tim and Shadow have gotten their relationship to it’s current stage, Middy has met a nice monsterman herself. If only to keep her a little distracted away from the time Tim and Shad spend together.
It’s so nice to see Midnight and Tim getting along, settling into a frenemy . . . quasi-adversarial– best-rivals-forever–big sister/little brother–actually, how the heck would one describe it? They’re not friends, it’s more like . . . exasperances? (combination of exasperation and acquaintance, Tim annoys her in a sort of yeah-but-I’d miss-him-if-he-went-no-idea-why.)
Tim have you ever heard the old saying, “Open mouth, insert foot”? You just did it BIG time. LOL.
It’s been about 2 weeks but my old phone got busted. Finally got the replacement in. Can you imagine taking 30 minutes just to write a few simple sentences ?? I wonder if the Nox have this problem with technology.

My one issue with the page was it was too dark. Had to UP the brightness.

I got the feeling she was gonna pressure him about Shadow, and he’d slowly get more scared about what she’d have to ask about Shadow and Tim’s “relationship.” Then badabing! Though I was wrong as I continued reading.
Ha! Now I’m picturing what will happen in the present when we flash forward.
Midnight: “YOU MADE HER LATE! I WARNED YOU I WOULD KILL YOU TIM!”
