Oh Red Dwarf! I don’t think many here might know of that show, but for me it was like religion. My favorite series would of been 1 to 5
Yeah, it was better at the beginning, but there are quite a few gems in the later seasons too, including the newer series X. I’m looking forward to the 2 new series confirmed next year as well!
They used a Red Dwarf joke in Freefall. The main character is an AI (an uplifted wolf), and one of the system checks was her programmed response to “Direct order: identify this”, when presented with a banana.

But srsly dude; if there is an amount of money that would allow you to afford yourself the free time necessary to release more often without the quality of the work or your life taking a hit, you should put it as a stretch goal. Who knows? Maybe enough of us will show enough interest to come up with it. I know you’re really not trying to monetize and just tell us this awesome story for free, but those that donate to your patreon do so because they want to and can afford it; there’s a good chance that if we’re already donating for something you’d do for free, we might donate more for something extra. Plus, even if we didn’t there’d be no harm done, and it might boost your revenue either way. Just sayin’.

Huh wonder what she’ll do once she figures out it’s not exactly fear that is filling up Shadow’s device. Great now I got this image in my head of them being older and her trying to figure out how it works sees them and tries to get in on it (which would never happen but would be funny to see their reaction lol) Of course now I got this alternate image of the next chapter of her jumping him and him asking what’s going on and she’s like “oh you said cookie I thought you said nookie”.
I have a question. In the fourth panel on the third page of the first chapter, those scars on his shoulder, how long till those are explained? >.<

yeah… we’re a while away from this one happening. the scene where you got a glimpse of that scar is basically the epilogue of this story. stay tuned though, its gonna be epic!

It’s actually an in-joke.
Back in grade school/high school, I used to create (or attempt to create) little hand-drawn comics under the fake production company banner ‘White Thunder Comics’ and that lightning bolt was what I’d draw in the upper left-hand corner of the cover pages. When it came time to put a design on Timothy’s shirt, I just put the White Thunder symbol as a placeholder, and it just kinda stuck.
I even made him a fan of my old fake studio, as he reads one of my old comic series in this very story back near the beginning of chapter 2.
That’s right, Tim, sell this girl to X-COM!
