UGH FINALY, we can get back to Timothy and Shadow. Not saying this plot development wasn’t necessary but I had a gun in my mouth for 8 weeks waiting for this scene to be over with!
Heh, yeah. Me too. I knew when I wrote it that it was going to be a bit of a slog… but an Important one. Oh, and we aren’t quite back to Tim yet, although some more ‘important’ stuff is coming up. 😉
Well, if I recall right—I didn’t kick back to reread the earlier stuff—Tim ten-years-later is *narrating* the story. They met cute, then a relationship developed, then a friendship, and then friends-with-benefits…so, I’m assuming, at some point, Shadow or someone filled him in on the details of what went on here.
Yeah, certainly they talk about things together. Shadow likes to vent. XD

Oh, it’s intriguing… but at the same time it’s a few weeks of the same introduction scene.

Hmm. The way Shadow is looking at Mortis makes me wonder if there’s something, some history, between them. But, she is “such a good little girl” that she won’t bring it up, unless Mortis brings it up somehow.
Is there a written version of your story somewhere? I seem to remember glossing over in the comments a few months ago about there being a written one?
The original written version of the story is available on Brandon’s deviantart page. I’m not going to link to it, since Brandon doesn’t like it, but you can probably find it if you really want to. However, be aware that reading it will spoil you for most of the plot of the comic.
