So Terminus sensed a L. Mortis’s embarrassment. I didn’t know that monsters can sense each other’s anxiety or concern. ( I should have know this… ) ^^
Probably observation, not any kind of 6th sense. Remember he also sensed Nightmare stalking him from the shadows, and has probably spent more than enough time around his lord to learn his mannerisms and how to spot when somethings off.
Do Shadow and her fellow monsters know Aikido?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Noxians did have their own set of martial arts, with their own set of “hard” striking and “soft” avoidance techniques, including the use of claw-strikes and tail-throws. No doubt they’d have many similarities with the many forms of kung fu, karate, jiujutsu, aikijutsu, wrestling, and pankration, not to mention the dozens of styles worldwide of stick-fighting, staff-fighting, spear-fighting, polearm-fighting, and sword-fighting. (They might not have the mounted styles like Roman armatura equestris, though, given their environment.)
People keep talking about an original story, and here I am wondering where it is so that I can take a gander at it …
Never mind that old thing.
Does that mean that the webcomic continuity overrules the story continuity? I ask because if it isn’t “forced” to keep to the old story for future events, that means we’re still open to Terminus finally winding up in a webcomic crossover with Penny Arcade’s “Nightlights” – now that I would like to watch! 😉
The only continuity that matters is the comic right now, I’m only using the original writing as a frame to build upon.
Who is Shadow? Why is Mortis so protective of her? What’s going to happen to her?
How about having Tim Shadow and Midnight watch Extreme Ghostbusters together.
There isn’t time to dedicate to them watching anything too specific, unless I can tie it in as a vague nod stuck in the background during some other scene. The plot moves forward now.
Just assume they watch whatever you want them to off-panel, so to speak.
Shadow’s Father basically confirmed
Naw, just a guildmaster looking out for his own. You dont have a sleazeball from your camp going after the favorite daughter of the one you are trying to form an alliance with. That would cause tensions and possible repercussions down the line, and Mortis is smart enough to know it. Also the pedophilic implications were themselves worthy of a beatdown. I’m not saying he’s NOT Shadows dad, but thats only one possible reason for his rage.
Agreed with all of the above. It’s everything else – his close scrutiny of Shadow earlier plus their physical similarities (including but not limited to the tips of their tails) – that lends credence to their familial bond, biological father being the main theory but uncle/niece and cousins on some level are also viable alternatives.
I think it’s clear his rage is a combination of a number of factors – Termite’s sleaziness on top of a “don’t mess with Moonlight’s favorite!” and “she’s my family!”. Each individually might not raise his ire that much, but all at once is another story.
Termite better watch out!
I bet that is her father. He is clearly concerned for her and wants to get to know her.

Being worked on as I type this, but I don’t want to rush exactly either. I know it’s a bit late. It’s still Sunday though… evening, sure, but still. XD
Release when it is done and not one second sooner. I’d rather a tuesday release than one that suffers from being rushed.

Interesting, the timestamps for comments seems to be based on your timezone instead of my own like most sites. That means I got 1 hour and 59 minutes before I can start screaming its late. :L
