To be fair, it’s their night time… technically. Shadow probably just can’t get to sleep!

It’s likely not like that. Consider that their jobs specifically are to scare the crap out of people in the night. So they more or less have graveyard schedules. I assume much like us, not everybody would be awake during the day. Also, despite it being ‘morning’ there, it’s worth mentioning it’s still dark there – they may not even have sunlight.
Midnight is going to break some monster guys heart some day.

Certainly it’s the prospect of going out, it’s actually ‘night time’ for them, so she’s interrupting Midnight’s rest.

A while ago. Who knows? All that matters is she has some and Shadow needs those puppies for… reasons.
Reminds me of Homestuck, where troll’s activity time was night, and a daylight was a scary thing when terrific monsters, like vampires, was roaming.
It’s just one of the things you must take into consideration when dealing with a nocturnal species!
Interestingly enough google definitions read morning as midnight to noon while evening as the end of the day. That would make it both 10:00 in the morning and in the evening for the nocturnal demons(?).
Putting definitions aside, this is the first time I’d considered that they’d associate the word “morning” with sleep. I figured they would think of the day how we think of the night, but I never went as far as morning/evening.
Ok now im realy looking forward to next week and did shadow and tim go out trick or treating or not if so how did they pull it off

wait, whaaaaa? Monsters sleep? I thought they just rotated to different parts of the world on a nonstop basis. It’s always nightime somewhere on Earth after all, lol.
Probably that they follow a nocturnal schedule based on what part of the world they’re supposed to be scaring their way through. It seems like the whole scaring thing is more of a job than a hobby.
