Now enter Lady Blackheart who is not at all Tims mom
She offers sage advice hoping to keep Shadow form harm
She gives forbidden books, and helps Shade get that hokey look

I never said he walked in on them more than once. That is just an assumption. 😉

Cottonpicking theory trolls. They seem even more correct by the page. Granted gol lion is not how I would describe miss monster who just so happens to have blonde hair.
I’m kind of interested in an upcoming dilemma, regarding how Tim is going to introduce (costumed) Shadow to his parents, before they go out trick-or-treating together, when, logically (with respect to ordinary families), it should be very peculiar for her to suddenly appear inside the house. Perhaps she will climb out a window from Tim’s room and knock on the front door, but, still, Tim has to provide to his parents an explanation for having a girl friend at age 12, when most boys that age stay as far away as possible from girls.
One thing about which I’m very curious will be the reaction of Tim’s dad to Shadow. If Ruthie is actually Lady Blackheart and he knows it, then he will almost certainly recognize Shadow as being from Nox. UNLESS Lady Blackheart has really done a number on Shadow, such as transforming her into a normal-human type of girl…in which case TIM’s reaction when she crawls out from under the bed is going to be very entertaining!
I’m sure it’ll all work out. 😉
I agree, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to see various interactions. Here’s another one: When Shadow meets Tim’s mom, will Ruthie’s voice sound like Lady Blackheart’s voice? What you wrote hints that you might skip past showing your readers all that nifty stuff, useful for figuring things out! No fair!
