Brandon, I want to tell you about the huge oncoming leap to 18 years-old Tim that you’re going to do. Please, don’t hurry to reach this point. Give your characters time, I think there is an enormous potential for many many interesting things and drama that can happen before Tim reaches 18. I’m also Midnight fan, so I would LOVE to see events that would change Midnight’s attitude toward Tim from frosty to at the least chilly.

Xenomorph2000, see my msg to Brandon on pg 4 of these comments, where I mention #31 ( /?comic=31-away-she-goes ), and ask about the 18-year-old Tim saying “Shadow and I have been through a lot!” –I only referenced stuff available in the currently-existing comics and comments. We might assume EmpathySeeker knows at least that much stuff, too.
I will say I agree with EmpathySeeker; there ought to be plenty of opportunities for other flashbacks about Tim and Shadow, in-between the ages of 12 and 18. Especially if some of them can be shown relevant to what Brandon plans for the “main” story-line, the stuff that happens to the 18-year-old Tim and Shadow.
I have read the script my self. But I’m not going to tell you where to find it.

I know, I recognized it as Animaniacs the instant I saw it, where are people getting Battle Toads from? SERIOUSLY! Other then the bad cartoon reviews like Mysterious Mr Enter or someone else on youtube, I don’t see where they are getting this!

If the author is hinting at something, and all the hints point in the same general direction, then that is probably what is going to happen.

Here something no one else has said and I wish I said something sooner. It’s the fact that his mother is nervous in the last panel. He has seen her true form before. Why would she be so nervous about her monster form? She already approves of her son being infatuated with a monster girl. It’s not like he’ll hate her if finds out. Not like their ugly monsters either. She has to know she can’t hide her secret forever.
Even in that sceen from Tales from the Darkside, he still loved that gargoyle women even though the spill that affected her affect the children. He was more concerned out of the children and didn’t even care about his life. But he still love them.

“she has to know she can’t hide her secret forever.” Simple. It’s better when fewer people know your secrets, even if they are ones whom you can trust. I won’t be surprised if she has erased and faked memories of her husband, in order to make him believe that she is a human. If Tim reveals her true nature, then probably she could consider erasing and faking some of his memories too, although I doubt that she would do it guilty-free and without hesitations.
I don’t think she brainwash our own family to make them forget. Maybe she knew that her son be too young to remember the details of her original form. Certainly Tim’s dad has no problem with it. Look at that last panel. That is confusion and panic. “What gold lion costume….. OHHHH. UMM That ‘lion’ costume..😨”
And even Tims triple ellipse in the end his sentence… He knows deep down…

Whenever I hear the words “My Little Pony”, I find myself drawn to Secret Sauce’s take on it.

My little pony isn’t bad at all, the new stuff that is, but it is the fans that scare the ever living crap out of me. Seriously, the show by it’s self is harmless, but the people that love it can really freak me out.
